Subs are great but the staff on a Sunday evening had everything but customer service on their minds. With 6 customers waiting,... there should be a sense of urgency to complete the orders but that was anything but the case. i had a bad experience today.. and went and looked through other reviews that said the same exact thing.. from 2 months ago to a... year ago.. the thing that gets me is that the owner of this store or the person who replies.. says the same thing everytime ?wehave staffing issues? and this same reply can be found on reviews from 2 years ago.. it seems like the employees and even theowner (replier) does not take concerns seriously. if they did these problems would have been fixed a year ago when they firstsaid we have staffing issues and we?re figuring it out.. sad Read more
Late night. There were 3 'kids workers' when I arrived. All 3 ran to the back as I was entering. I thought they were running to... get the real workers. 2 of them came back to get my order. One of the boys seem to be training because he needed assistance afew times. The girl seems to know the most. There were no onions for my order. Luckily they told me. The 'kids/workers' werepleasant but very, very unprofessional. They should also be reminded of the following - once they put their gloves on, they needto be extremely careful of what they touch next.... including their person (arm, waist, etc.) Hygiene, cleanliness is the numberrule when in the food industry. I came in for the first time today March 9, 2022 at around noon. I noticed that the girl making sandwiches (who was wearing... sweatpants and pajamas, by the way), picked up her phone with the protective gloves on, was swiping and texting on the dirtyscreen, then set the phone down and grabbed a handful of the bacon for my sandwich with those same gloves on. I threw up in mymouth a little bit. I knew right then and there I had to cancel my order and get a refund. I told what I saw to the cashierand I don't think it even registered to him, what I had seen. This staff is disgusting. Not to mention the whole crew wasmoping around like they were on tranquilizers. Monday, mid afternoon, late winter. Only ones in the store, staff very friendly and order delivered fast and hot. One star off... for unclean floors and tables, another off for broken soda machine. Also, we forgot that lettuce, etc., isn't added tosandwiches unless you ask for it. I wish they would remind customers or ask them when ordering. If you go there a lot, you know,but if you're only occasional, like us, you don't remember until that first bite and then it's too late. Read more
I love these subs. Meat and cheese are toasted, but the bread is tasty and soft. The menu makes it a pain to customize, but the... veggies are fresh & delicious. New guy forgot to add the olives. You can't see them assemble it, so I had to make a trip backfor the wife. Read more

This establishment is a complete joke. My family owns and operates 2 successful businesses in the food industry and this... Firehouse Subs in Maple Grove is an embarrassment to restaurants in this city and around the country. The staff mope around likechildren told to do their chores. They are unfriendly, unwelcoming, and utterly rude. The cashier ignored us to take a phonecall on their cell phone. The restaurant is completely filthy and the staff play on their phones with gloves on and then makesandwiches. I asked for a refund immediately and sandwich maker rolled her eyes and sighed very loudly to give me a refundbecause the cashier was too busy filling their cup with soda while customers waited, instead of helping. I am so disgusted withthis restaurant and it?s staff and will pledge to never return and give mercy to potential onlookers to beware of this atrocious?restaurant.? Run away. As fast as you can.
