As an L.A. person having access to some of the most amazing Mexican food around, I was VERY pleasantly surprised (shocked,... actually) when I tasted Left Coast Siesta's bean burrito. I know that it's "only" a bean burrito, but this was one of the bestI've ever had, rivaling even the bean burrito I've eaten and loved for over two decades in L.A.. The frijoles were a great mixof whole bean and "smashed," with a subtly-seasoned delicious flavor. Add to that an extremely fresh whole wheat tortilla andplenty of cheese and you've got a burrito that deserves and A+. I was truly impressed. And angry at myself for not havingordered two. I would literally return to Manzanita just for Left Coast Siesta's burritos. I can't vouch for their other menuitems but based on the burrito I had (and the line that, luckily, didn't start forming until after I ordered), I'm guessing thateverything they serve is amazing. We stopped in for lunch here on Thursday and while waiting in line we were yelled at for being in line. Please get out of the... way with nowhere to go. Okay fine. Then we order and 2/5 burritos were wrong. I asked about no sour cream on mine and was toldif you ordered it one way the kitchen got it right. The kitchen didn?t get it right. So we made a new one. all things consideredif the new burrito had been good I could have gotten past a few things, but my sawdust chicken on my dry tortilla made thisexperience a complete 1. First, if you are looking for Mexican food, go a few more blocks toward the ocean to the lovely folks at El Trio Loco, this is... a West Coast burrito / wrap shop and it's a good one. Once you are clear on what you are getting, the food is great and thereare a lot of options to please anyone. My brother and I like spicy food and my mom likes bland, they like meat, I likevegetarian. We are all happy with the food here. Read more
