OMG! servings were huge we came home with enough for dinner that night. The oysters were so good and hot, and husband is still... talking about the shrimp Po-boy sandwich. All of the staff were friendly and helpful. We will be going back soon. Read more

I have eaten at this establishment before and they had the best seafood around, wife and I came tonight and food was horrible... they had hardly any food on the buffet food was cold salad bar looked as if a football team tackled it. shrimp was awfullysmall. Terrible service tonight. After we paid for meal, I asked to speak to management and the lady acted as if she could careless and walked off only 3 other tables were occupied. Will not happen again for that price things should have been handleddifferently. Read more

This year, we came here two nights in a row. Was here last year as well. I remember now, last year I ordered rice and gravy as a... side and it was horrible. Did it again tonight with my catfish. Wish I remembered last time. Catfish was edible... by farnothing to write home about. Salad bar is okay. But this rice... dear Lord it's the worst on the planet. I can't believe thehealth department hasn't gotten into them over just this. It's like they cooked it yesterday, left it sit out to dry and thenserved it with gravy from the refrigerator. The catfish was hot.... this rice was old and cold. Like, the gravy was so coldthat I wanted the waiter to touch it and explain how it got that cold... but he never came around again. In the photo, the moreyellow rice are all the hard, dry pieces. Yesterday I got the seafood gumbo and the portion for 13 dollars was atrocious. Youget more in your morning coffee cup. I eat more than that as an appetizer. Won't be back. Read more

Great place to unwind after a day on the lake. Friendly, helpful wait staff that are attentive but do not hover as you eat. They... have a seafood buffet on Friday nights that includes (typed by waiter) - hush pups, crab bites, stuffed shrimp, oysters, wholefish, fries, fish fillets, popcorn shrimp, frog legs, gumbo, seafood dressing, fried corn on cob and grilled fish. We went on aweekday night and Hubby had the medium catfish while I had the small; both were nicely seasoned and more than we could eat. Alsoliked they continue to have a salad bar. A person stands behind the glass and prepares your salad to your specifications. Willdefinition be returning! Read more

We stopped for lunch on our way to South Toledo Bend State Park. It was very easy to find and we were easily able to park our... Motorhome in their lot. The bathrooms were clean. The entire restaurant is in an older building that is actually clean andcomfortable. Tammy was our server and she did a fantastic job. Our orders were correct, the food came quickly and everything wasvery good. They have a nice salad bar (you are served, it is not self service). Not sure if that?s a COVID thing or has alwaysbeen so. Anyway the selection was fairly good and everything was fresh and tasty. Cole slaw was great, green tomato relish verynice and their pickle spears were excellent. They make their own in house tarter sauce that is absolutely the best I?ve everhad. We ordered the chicken fried chicken and the seafood platter. Everything was delicious. The fried corn on cob isincredible. You need to get some. We ate frog legs for the first time and loved them. I believe they do not fry non seafood inthe same oil as the seafood, because only the seafood had a seafood taste. The oil actually tasted fresh on all our food. Lastlywe had some great pies. The lemon was good, but the coconut cream was the winner. Great food, good atmosphere and superbservice. Read more
