Went in with a large group of 10 and we had to sit a separate tables next to each other, which wasn't a huge deal. The server... was very sweet and accommodating. We ordered a little of everything on the menu from Cajun specialties to a good all Americanburger and steak. When the food came out the lunch portions were a little on the smaller side, all of us were served raw whiteFrench fries, which were caught by who I assume was the manager and replaced immediately. The fried shrimp were perfect,coleslaw delicious, the steak was questionable unfortunately, there were a few other quality issues with the food that wereremoved from the check. Food was good but expensive for the small portions. Very skimpy on the appetizers and side salad!
Good food especially Porterhouse Steak, and live band on Saturday and good hospitality. Just ordered fish and found out it sway... not good . Get what u know is good steak,shrimp,crawfish . You would think a seafood named place would have Louisiana catfish .SAD serving fish from Vietnam , looked it up and Google said unsafe to eat sway . Not regulated very well . Read more
The dead Cajun is my favourite. I?m allergic to bell peppers so a lot of their stuff is off limits for me. The wait staff is... always so polite and amazing. Only been in Louisiana for a month and this is already my favourite joint to eat at. Read more
This was our first time here. I was working in the area saw it on Google and glad we decided to go. I ordered the Crawfish... cornbread, wife ordered the large bowl of broccoli soup. Both looked and tasted completely homemade, it was served with homemaderolls that were wonderful. Neat old building atmosphere, it was a little warm inside but not unbearable. Grabbed a late lunch to go as we had dogs with us. The shrimp po-boy was great! My son loved his crawfish basket. My daughter... did not enjoy her grilled chicken sandwich. I thought the fish tacos were okay. Definitely not a fan of all the fried food. Maybe next time I?ll ask for grilled fish. Read more
