Very friendly staff. Good coffee. Go on Fridays because they have croissant-muffins from a local baker for sale.

What a great way to start the day! With a VERY tasty Cruffin! (only available on Happy Cruffin Friday's!) And a piping hot cup... of house roasted coffee! There is a large variety of specialty coffees, teas and drinks on the menu, as well as muffins, bagelsand even ice cream. Grab a coffee mug, T-Shirt or Sweatshirt while you're there! The atmosphere is relaxing, and the staffmembers are friendly and attentive! The shop is located in the middle of downtown Manteo, just a hop skip and a jump from theManteo waterfront and all the rest of the quaint little locally owned shops in the area. Don't forget to leave a prayer on thewall of prayers, then come back and draw a red heart on your prayer tag if your prayer is answered ??. Highly recommend stoppingin to wake up with a fresh brewed cup of coffee and grab a Cruffin if you can, or one of the other many other tasty pastries orbagels! ???? Read more
Ridiculously kind and generous owners/management! The coffee is tasty. They roast it all locally. The design/decor in the shop... is also really tasteful done. They do a lot of good in the community as well. The baked goods are well done - especially enjoyedthe lemon cinnamon roll. Will come back next time I?m in town. Read more
I would highly recommend Charis Coffee Company! Every server there is incredibly kind and shows the love of Christ to each... customer. Also they have some baked goods that are to-die-for! One really cool thing about their shop is they have a wall whereyou you can write a prayer request on a notecard and pin it on the wall and then you can write another one when you see how Godanswered that prayer request and the whole wall is covered in these and it makes for a powerful reminder of just how much ourGod cares for each and every one of us:) Read more
Great little spot! My husband and I both had drip coffee, which was good. We also had cruffins: orange blossom for me and apple... pie for him. Deee-licious. The only negative: as with every other non-restaurant in Manteo, it closes at 5:00. Read more
We stopped here to grab a couple of coffees before we got the road back to Raleigh. Great service and we loved the cozy... environment. The coffees were also delicious! If we had more time to spend in this area, we would've gone back for more. Read more
We stopped while passing through town. Staff friendly, coffee is roasted in house. Good atmosphere. Prices are on par with other... places I frequent. SWAG include mugs, cups, sweatshirts and candles. Read more
