How have I lived in Mantica for over a year and never heard of this place. That?s because it?s in the industrial park outside of... the normal food avenue. But you should definitely check this place out. Amazing ribs, green beans, baked beans and catfish. Ican?t wait to try the fried chicken. And the owners are very respectable, interactive and passionate about there food. Highlyrecommend. Read more

My fiancé wanted to surprise me with some good BBQ after a long day of work since we?ve been craving it and he came across Mama... Weber?s. He LOVED Mama?s energy and warmth that she radiated as he spoke to her. He knows I don?t like coleslaw so he order myPulled Pork Sandwich without it, but Mama gave me some on the side so I can try it and told him I should try it because she?sgot great coleslaw. LET. ME. TELL. YOU! I have ALWAYS hated coleslaw, I tried the coleslaw they gave me and my eyes have beenopened! I loved it so much I ended up actually putting it on my pulled pork sandwich and ate the whole thing! The food wasquality all the way around and worth the price. (The Fried pickles were a little saltier than I would liked, but I just rubbedsome off before eating the rest.) I will be back soon to meet Mama myself and next time we are trying some desserts! Was visiting from out of town. Looking for an alternative to the typical fast food and the nearest Mexican restaurant was... cash-only. So googled and found this little gem of a restaurant. Having lived in Virginia, I?ve had my fair share of good BBQbut this place is it. Loved everything, meat, sides. All was 110%. Staff was very attentive and friendly. Made the trip somuch worth it. It was mine and the hubs first time at Mama?s. I was impressed with the food! The place smelt amazing when we walked in. It... definitely reminded me of the south when I visit my sis in law in Florida sometimes we go to Tennessee and Louisiana for goodsouthern food too. This reminds me of it. The catfish I got was truely delicious and full-filling. You get a large portion offood too. Home made is always the best. Mama and her employee were very kind and make you feel like family. Stop looking. Just go here. Absolutely fantastic food and service. Mama Weber is so kind and her food is like nothing I've ever... had and I've had southern food all over the US. Definitely not afraid of flavor! The collard greens and Mac and cheese are amust and the brisket absolutely melted in my mouth. Comes with cornbread that was moist and exactly how you'd want it. We gotthe catfish on the side to try it and it was fantastic as well not greasy very fresh. Nothing felt heavy. Everything was freshand made to order. Cannot wait to go back and try more! Oh and we got bread pudding Togo that just came out of the oven! Cannotwait to eat it later ???? thank you so much we're so glad we found such a gem in our new neighborhood. Read more
