Invited to a birthday lunch at 54th Street Restaurant and Drafthouse and it was absolutely amazing! The meal presentations were... fabulous, the location was perfect and the service was great. The Spinach Artichoke Cream Pasta suggestion with its bursts offlavors was nothing short of delectable. This spot is a lot larger than it looks from the outside.. there’s a main diningarea, a large bar area with craft beer and an outdoor patio. They opened at 11am and they were packed by 11:30. We enjoyed so much that we recently went two days in a row. Great food and fabulous service from Brittany Mathews! Always... consistently great with food, service and experience. Our first visit: We had excellent customer service! Our waiter, Brian, was attentive, polite, and, knowledgeable of the menu. ... He described what to expect of our meals perfectly! The appetizers are enormous and there is a good variety. The burgers are insane and creative. Tons of beer on draft and maybe... (maybe) the best key lime pie in the world? It’s hard to say but wow!; Martin’s these guts are on a mission. The place wasspotless and smelled clean. The staff seemed to be having a good time and were friendly but … and you know there must be a‘but’ , the water and soap dispenser in the bathroom are too advanced for the vibe of the restaurant. My family and I are so much food here it is RIDICULOUS. First of all, the service was great and we got our food super fast.... There was more than enough food so the portion sizes are good. There were so many options to choose from that we just orderedand shared our food. Once we got the check, we were surprised at how affordable the food and drinks were all together, so wewill most definitely be back! Very friendly atmosphere, food quality as well as portions were great. Waitress was awesome. Baked bread and butter were served... while waiting for food. Burger was not cooked as requested, and it took much longer to get it. Manager came to check on usseveral times to ensure our satisfaction when he noticed we were missing a plate, and later he offered a complimentary desertfor my daughter’s birthday. Worth mentioning that the outside seating is available with no reservation, however, the waitingtime for indoor seating can be long, but the wait list option is highly recommended. Read more
