As a visitor we chose Star of Siam by the reviews. This is without any doubt the worst Thai ever. There is no taste to this... "whatever it was" at all even tho the request was for spicy. The people of Plymouth should be ashamed of their reviews. Onlything going for the Star was the amount of food ... yes there was plenty of tasteless stuff to eat. Read more

I used to love this place. Not sure what happened but it is definitely lacking lately. I kept giving it another go but... tonight's tasteless veggie tofu yuk with 1 small piece of tofu and about 6 cashews was the last chance. I won't be back Read more
We hadn't eaten at the Star of Siam in many years, although we're in Manomet every summer. The reason we hadn't eaten there is... many years ago we had a very underwhelming experience with some takeout from them. I'm happy to say that things have changedfor the much much better. We had a large takeout order, and all the dishes we ordered were well seasoned and tasted very good.We ordered medium heat expecting to not be quite spicy enough, but it was exactly what we wanted and maybe a little bit morewhich was actually good. I'd say they're medium is more like another places seven out of 10 rather than a 5 out of 10. But thatwas good for us. So maybe the younger generation of their family taking over has improved things, we certainly were quitepleased and will be ordering from them in the future. Read more

The owner is such a nice person and has treated me to her delicious food simply sending her some... photos I have taken of her beautiful garden and ambiance in the outdoor eating area.
