Stopped here because it was close to my hotel and what can I say the thin crust pizza did not disappoint. perfect consistent of... soft and crunchy. The tomatoes sauce was delicious not overpowering of herbs. they do not go light on pepperonis. The onlything I did not like were the Buffalo wings very soggy and soft definitely have had better. Prices are fair. Very large locationOne big thing you order your food first then you can sit down. A efficient way to run a business but difficult for someone thatis new. Usually recommend this place to family and friends, but I must've caught them on a bad night. For context, it took them one hour... and fifteen minutes to deliver the pizza after I ordered it. Stopped in on the way out of town to grab a large for the drive back to Minneapolis. This pizza is as good now as it was 45... years ago. In 74-75 we lived in Lake Crystal. I helped install telephone equipment GTE. We would go to Jake's on the weekends. We would get... Canadian Bacon with extra cheese & of course Beer! All these years later we talk about how good the Pizza was here. Miss it!! Read more
If you like thin crust pizza, Jake's is for you! Delicious! Long standing locally owned joint, with lots of Vikings autographs... hanging up from when Training Camp was in Mankato. Their cheese bread is a must for me! Taco pizza is excellent! Lots of spacefor large groups, too. Wednesdays are bargain day! Read more
It was my first time there. I just thought the setup was weird to me meaning you order your food at the counter and you can find... a spot to sit and they will call your number when your food is ready. The presentation of the pizza was good but I did not carefor the taste of the pizza or the appetizers we had. The first couple bites were okay but as I ate more of it. The taste of itwent downhill after a few bites and I didn't care for the after taste. Not sure if I ever would go back. It's definitely not myfirst, second or third choice for pizza. Read more
Got my pizza and cheese bread delivered?. The toppings on the pizza were completely off the pizza, it was cold along with the... cheese bread, and they didn?t cut the pizza. For a self serve pizza place, not bad. Pizza was flavorful and seemed to be made with fresh ingredients. Crust was cooked... well. Service was ok... tables and restrooms were clean. My salad was massive, but nothing special to write home about. Iasked for buffalo sauce for my salad and was given bbq sauce. Checked receipt and it had Buffalo sauce called out.
