Reviews for The Loop in Manitou Springs, CO
Let's get one negative thing out of the way first: the bartender girl needs better customer service trainings. However she... didn't directly serve us, so I won't deduct one star from the rating. The food is excellent, and the portions are large.Someone ordered a drink and it came out in an equally huge glass. They were very good at supplying appetizers and accommodatingour table of about 20 people who randomly walked in without a reservation. I requested sauteed mushroom, onion and bell peppersinstead of rice and beans, and the entree came out looking better than I expected. The waiter brought us an extra flan with acandle on top as a surprise birthday treat. We have so much leftover. Read more
This restaurant is at the traffic circle and easily overlooked. The meal started with chips and salsa while we looked over the... menu. They offer a large variety of choices. The chips were thick and fresh tasting. The salsa was hotter then I like, but I'm awimp. That being said I had several chips dipped in it because the flavor was great. I had the burrito with garlic meat. It wasvery good and large portions. My understanding is that their margaritas are unique. Read more
I always enjoy The Loop, but the meal I had today was especially good. I got the Macho Combo Burrito (steak and chicken with a... side of tempura vegetables) and loved it. The meat was deliciously seasoned and had a perfect char that really brought out theflavor. The only things keeping me from giving The Loop five stars are really minor (wish I could give four and a half stars)were that they were understaffed (like almost everyone these days) and the portions are so large they're almost impossible tofinish. Inconvenient if you're planning to walk around Manitou Springs after you eat. But there's nice variety on the menu anda few things you don't typically see on Mexican restaurant menus, so I still highly recommend it. Read more

Had a great time here for cinco de mayo! It was super busy and the wait times were a bit longer, as expected for a holiday.... Before our server was able to get to us, one of the hosts was kind enough to get warm water for my friend?s baby so we didn?thave to wait. The Carne Colorado was hot hot HOT and made you need another margarita! The pours are strong, so don?t sweat theprice. Also pictured is the burrito panini, which came out hot and perfectly pressed. The restaurant has some fun art hangingthat the baby was loving. It?s a very kid friendly place! Excited to come back Read more

Take it from two Texans staying in CoSprings, and searching for a taste of home: The Loop has what you're looking for. Their... enchilada trio (photo) is saucy and delicious. All three varieties were tasty, but the shredded beef was especially good - itwas tender and flavorful. Their margaritas were also on point. They come in some unique flavors (like melon and pomegranate) andpack a punch! We greatly enjoyed our meal here, and our waitstaff were super nice as well. We'd love to come back when we're intown again. Read more
This local spot was recommended by our lodging host as we visited Manitou Springs. A local flair with a great atmosphere that... was enhanced by the very attentive wait staff! The food is prepared toward the spicy end of the spectrum, but definitely notover done! There is really nothing like a Coors beer when returning to Colorado after several years! When you find the exactright place to have it, you are winning!! Read more
