After a nice bike ride down the Strand, I knew I had to take my partner to get N.Y style pizza! She really enjoyed the customer... service, the view, outdoor seating and especially the pizza. This is not only customer friendly but due to covid they havesecured outdoor seating which makes it a dog friendly spot as well and has definitely won me back! Waited 45 minutes for some mediocre, reheated slices. Another pizza location would've been better for a local, quick pizza stop.... NY style but a miss on flavor and the fact it was reheated was terrible considering you pay over 4.50 a slice. Read more

The day I was visiting this place, stuff seem to be concerned of some problem. No happy faces at all. I bought one slice of... cheese pizza (because they didn?t serve pepperoni for some reason. Maybe that?s why they were concerned.) and cup of beer. Theydon?t have much of a choice. Pizza was delicious, and beer terrible. I didn?t finished even half of my plastic cup. Really dig this spot. The calzone is delicious, not pre made, takes a bit longer, but the wait is worth it, and with the... location within ocean view, what's the rush? You have to stop by here. The pizza is AMAZING and the staff is too! The views while you have your meal are unbeatable! My... family of 4 loved it and it will be a must have on every vacation in Manhattan beach! The slice has a no flop fold and the crusthas the crunch to it and the crisp slight burn to the crust and the sauce is so traditional and has a perfect ratio. You willnot regret stopping by 10/10! The food is decent and good portions but it is the outside seating and pitchers of beer that made my day. Just sitting with a... panoramic view of the ocean with an ice cold pitcher is making me go back again. Wings were dried out but good sauce. Nexttime, I will get a pizza! Read more

I just went to this great pizzeria yesterday afternoon. Both employees were very patient and helpful with our order and helped... me find a selection of beer I liked. My husband and I shared a thin crust pizza that was authentic and delicious. My kids shareda pepperoni calzone and even ate the whole thing! I also had a side salad that had many great toppings (olives, artichokes,peppers, tomatoes, garbanzo beans, etc) and a nice dressing. The outdoor seating had a great view of the beach and was safe andsocially distanced. Such a great place to eat and enjoy the view! They also let me and my kids use their bathroom which is veryappreciated since lots of places don't even provide this basic amenity during the pandemic. Read more

Manhattan Pizzeria, just one block from the Manhattan beach pier, had a pretty decent line (8-9 people) to order. We ordered 2... slices of pepperoni with extra cheese, extra pepperoni and 2 sodas. Exactly 37 minutes later, a young waitress (Leilani orLillana, don't remember) or cashier came outside with 3 boxes and yelled, "2 slices of pepperoni, 1 medium pizza." Iapproached and asked if that was order number 78, to my surprise she ignored me. I politely asked again as she was waiting forsomeone to claim the medium pizza, again she ignored my question, "are those slices number 78?" She handed me the box and for a3rd time asking the question, is this number 78?, she walked inside as if I was a ghost. I opened the box and it was 2 slicesof pepperoni, definitely not extra cheese. This was not a great first impression and quite a few customers were complaining oftheir wait times, understandably because of the epidemic going on, but irregardless of that she should have been polite, notrude as she was. The pizza tastes GREAT, service sucked, the size (1-2 mm thick and maybe the size of a personal pan at somelocal competitors) of the pizza slices for the amount spent as not worth it... My overall rating is a solid 2/5. Maybe in thefuture I will try this place again, and possibly I might need to update my review because eateries should always get a secondchance... ? Read more
