I recently visited the business and was charged $1.50 for cream cheese I didn?t receive. I have emailed the company via the... email address found on their website and have received no response. Two emails have been sent, requesting a refund. Sure, it?s$1.50, and in my younger years I would have accepted it as money lost. However, as a customer who was charged extra forsomething, the expectation is I receive the product requested and charged for. While this may be only $1.50, it is still productnot received and income going into the business pockets, that for them adds up. I have emailed asking for a refund and havereceived zero response. And for those wondering why I didn?t check my order before I left, the answer is simple; Deconstructinga sandwich in the middle of a restaurant to verify I got what I paid for is not something a customer should ever have to do. I ordered a bagel w/ cream cheese and salmon (lox) and it took 20 minutes to have ready. There were more store workers than... customers waiting and this was still the case. A couple behind me also waited 20 minutes just to have their order incorrect. Icannot recommend this place after the experience I had, which doesn?t appear limited to just me and my issue. Read more

A fine business, but the main card reader is so slow and old that I can't help thinking that the owner doesn't care to update... their employees with newer technology. If I, the customer, have to deal with outdated tech, then what other things are outdatedthat I can't see? Read more

The best breakfast in town. Mike B. and the staff work hard to serve the finest baked goods in the Southbay, and beyond. Bagels,... cookies, incredible sourdough loaves, breakfast sandwiches, fruit, yogurt, fresh juice, coffee drinks...you name it, they haveit. A great spot with a lot if parking, too. Enjoy! Read more

Excellent food, bad bad bad service. I ordered Veggie Sandwich, bagel, scone, coffee and orange juice which the cashier in the... mustard t-shirt and a beanie suggested was fresh which is so so so untrue. So I went and told him buddy the juice you suggestedis not fresh and he goes like we are told it is fresh and how do you know if it is or not. So I told him wow didn't know this ishow you question your customers, now regarding how i know because I buy and make them all the time and it is not orange colorsugar water which is what this was. Phenomenal NY Style Bagels. The Garlic and Poppy were just perfect. The great crust on the outside protects the soft, chewy... center. The 2nd picture is of the lox and cream cheese. The salmon was the best we've had on this one-month road trip aroundSouthern California. What gave this five stars was that the general manager, maybe the owner, was working the register on thisbusy Sunday. It seemed that he had less than an entire staff today, given the long lines. I saw him run around and doeverything, even empty the trash bins as they were filling up. This place was mobbed! Bonus, they do fresh bread every day,see picture, so they are more than a bagel shop. Under filled and over priced. Ordered two salmon bagels, and to my disappointment, the salmon, onion and capers contained was a... joke (pictures attached). The bagel tasted of cream cheese and tomato only, you?d be hard pressed to identify any taste ofsalmon or onion. Read more
