Came to Grunions to grab breakfast and they didn't disappoint. Nice presentation and tested just as good.

I just spent the last three days in Manhattan Beach. My friend and I were lucky enough to find this neighborhood bar in town.... The owners name is Robert, he's a great guy, really friendly, knows his sports, and is loved and respected by all his patronsand staff. Tons of TVs with every sporting event that is on that day. A great menu and good cooks, the prices are very good andthe service is fantastic. The folks from the neighborhood that go there are super friendly and informative about their city.I've got a lot of years under my belt, been to many places that wanted to be like Grunions, they just couldn't pull it off. I came to grunions because there was an off the menu item being offered. I got a Kona and the blackened chicken sandwich (OTM... item) and was presently surprised that it was super tasty and filling. The fries were just okay. This is a casual bar and wasrelatively packed inside with people watching sports. I sat in the back patio which is spacious with corn hole and tv screens aswell. Read more

I feel lucky to have stumbled upon this dive bar one afternoon. I had the pleasure of being greeted by a friendly... bartender/waitress named Arielle, who suggested a refreshing beer on tap while I was try to decide on my to-go entree. Shedescribed several menu items for me. I ended up choosing the Hickory Burger. The burger was delicious. Classic quarter pounderwith fresh lettuce, pickles, tomatoes - topped with onion rings and barbecue sauce. No complaints from me. Read more
