We had supper there Saturday night. Drinks had virtually no alcohol in them for $10 each. Wow! Famous mushrooms appear to have... shrunk in size!! Still delicious, but not worth the money. The food was not very good, the mashed potatoes were bland and chunky, but they did give me a different side dish of green... beans. I ordered a butter cake, it literally tasted liked straight butter. I know it?s called butter cake, but I feel like adessert isn?t supposed to taste like straight butter. I am never going here again. Happy hour specials are good. Drinks and appetizers. Service at the bar was attentive. Meals were reasonably priced with large... portions. Good flavors. Food came out hot. Menu says everything made from scratch and I believe it. Will return. I'd like tosee a steak on the menu. Read more
Houlihan is a great restaurant to enjoy while on business at the conjoining hotel or as a local looking for a higher than... average meal. Food is always prepped correctly and hot when it hits your table. Staff is a hit or miss as my recent experiencefelt lacking and with an empty drink more than a few times. Food was good but our waiter Will was one of the rudest waiters I've ever had. Came in with my grandpa and he would not speak... up. We couldn't hear him. He didn't write down any of our orders, got the checks wrong, forgot our desserts, rolled his eyes andeven walked away mid conversation when my grandpa was confused about the checks.
