This is my new favorite place. The food is great and so are the people. I was looking for dungeness crab for my husband's... birthday. They had dungeness crab when I couldn't find it elsewhere. Spent about $50 for a delivery today. I tried the Boiled shrimp, corn and potatoes, sausage, and gumbo. Gumbo was not... impressive, just very plain. The sausage, corn and Shrimp was EXTREMELY dry and difficult to eat. Flavor of the shrimp was okay,but the corn and potatoes had dry cajun seasoning just sprinkled on (not boiled into the vegetables like a normal seafoodboil). If I had to estimate, we threw away at least half the food we ordered. (Tried to salvage the shrimp but it was so drythat it wasn't worth it) Read more
We stopped in today after always seeing the incredibly tempting pictures of the Dungeness crabs on Facebook! We put in our order... and the owner made it personally it for us. He was so nice and welcoming as soon as we walked in the door. We ordered themuch-awaited crabs and actually brought them home. The crabs were seasoned incredibly well and the garlic parmesan butter wasaddicting. We also tried the boiled shrimp and he gave us some remoulade and cocktail sauce. The shrimp were cooked extremelywell and they were seasoned so well. The raw seafood looked incredibly fresh and clean. We will definitely make the drive tocome back and we highly recommend! Amazing place and awesome food! Great taste, not individually cooked to certain flavors but still has a little kick. Decently... priced and had a huge shock when a tray of crabs were brought to the table and was told another tray was coming. Use to having a2lb bag of crab mixed with vegetables for like $50+. 1st time visiting. It was maybe an hr after they opened &, they were out of Crawfish. The owner was sweet & accommodating &,... gave me a sample of his Bisque. It was ok. It seems as though they use a lot of seasoning but, it's no good if, you just boilthe Crawfish in it for 5mins. Once, I got the Crawfish after 30mins. The Crawfish were just babies. It was definitely not worththe wait or the amount I paid. I couldn't peel them, they had no heat &, were just babies. I hate when, people harvest thebabies &, buy them. If I would've known, I wouldn't haven given them my business. Never Again! Read more
First time visit. The place is nice, the service was fantastic! We had the boiled shrimp, crabs (#1 size), and fixings. The... boiled shrimp was delicious! Believe them when they say the sausage is great...because it is. The crabs were FULL of meat, butcould have soaked a bit longer to grab more flavor (hence the lack of 1 star) nevertheless we will be back. Read more
