The last two years I have gotten my Thanksgiving roast from Sais's. I get a pretty large one and it's much easier to get it from... Saia's than to find somebody at any grocery store to cut it for me. Both times I have received excellent service and a beautifulroast. This time I have to commend a young man named Anthony who helped me decide the right type of roast and then took the timeto carve out a beautiful roast for me. Saia's is one of my go to spots when I'm in town visiting family! First, they have an excellent selection of bourbon and scotch... (wine and beer also). The prices are usually a tad lower than other liquor in the area. A good bottle of Glenlivet 15 yr ran meabout $80. The meat counter has some really good quality steaks! Tip: Ask for the pork belly and have it sliced thick. Makes anamazing BLT sandwich! Go around lunch kr dinner and order a poboy or their amazing fried chicken! We just did a grad party formy son and ordered 44 pieces of fried chicken. People were tearing it up! For lunch a shrimp poboy and small onion rings forabout $11. And the poboys come whole!! I didn't want to give this place one star! I ordered a liver dinner with fries the cook put my livers in first and then put my... fries in the same basket about 3 minutes later the liver was so over cooked you couldn't tell it was liver I'm so disappointedbecause I've been there before and the food was good I had more french fries than anything else so if you order the liver don'tget fries with it I doubt I'll ever eat there again.
