I would not even bother given money to this establishment. I am a local food courier and she said she did not get one of our... orders. I tried to give the lady the order manually and she refused to take the order that I was trying to pick up from them.Furthermore her excuse was that she was not serving our service and that she was tired and by the way it was eleven thirty inthe morning. There is no website and no price anywhere to be found which is always a bad first sign going to any restaurant. I downloaded... the waitr app to find the business and check the price to find that the bowls start at $20 and the veggie bowl is $17. I wentin the restaurant and was told ?no sushi? which I assume means sushi bowls can?t be made but I felt like if I asked if there wassushi bowls I would just add to the confusion in communication. I want to like this place but I don?t think that with theprice, lack of supplies, and my perceived existence of a language barrier that this is my kind of place. Read more
I hate to leave this review, but must. This place makes very good Poke, and wish I could say Ill be back. Let me explain: I... have frequented this place regularly for the last 3 months after taking a job near here. Went in to get a bowl and evenmentioned my love of her sauces. However after I paid for my meal and was waiting for her to build the lunch, she claimed thecharge got cancelled and proceeded to try to charge me for a second bowl. I had added tip, so knew it had processed and was ableto show her on my banking app. Her response? Call my bank. So i did, and they confirmed the charge. Her response? Id have tofight that with my bank... I can only assume i caught her in a fradulant scheme, i have contested the charge and left with nolunch. It will take 60 days to hopefully receive my money back, but I simply cannot trust this business anymore, even if it isdelicious. My advice? Take cash, and make sure of your change... Read more
I got the LA Bowl and it was delicious! The ingredients are fresh. I really loved the salmon and wonton strips. The lady that... works there was friendly. The price for the bowl is worth the cost. There?s a variety in one bowl and got satisfied eating halfbecause it?s a lot of food which is good. Will go back! Read more
This place is amazing. The atmosphere is like a tiny cafe. I ordered the LA Poke Bowl. It came with salmon, chicken, cucumbers,... carrots, fried wonton strips, avocado, and more. The quality of the salmon was great since after the first bite, it just sortof melted and the flavor really came out the more you chew. The chicken was tender and flavorful. The sauces that came with thebowl definitely bring out the ingredients that were added in. 100% will come back in the near future. Read more
First of all real cute place. Very inviting as they had the door open and there was a nice breeze. We were greeted right when we... came in. The lady (I'm thinking was owner) was super sweet and helping when we were ordering our Poke bowls. She madesuggestions ok the different sauces and the portions were excellent. Place was super clean including bathroom and smelled good. Throughout the meal she asked if we were good and needed anything. Excellent customer service. Love the food! I really enjoy LA Poke & Sushi. I eat there whenever I'm in the area. The bowls are large and they are well done. I usually get... two meals from one bowl. She lady assembling the bowls does not skimp on any of the ingredients. I'm assuming she's the ownerbecause she is the only person I've ever seen. Her Poke bowls are better than the ones I had in Hawaii. Don't hesitate to gothere. Read more
