As someone who grew up in point pleasant Beach New Jersey who frequented the original Mikes subs location, I'm honored to have... one close to where I currently live in Louisiana. The standard subs Italians roast beef and cheese steaks are just as good as Iremember from many years past no complaints about the franchise and it is run well that is the deception of the amount of meatthat the sandwich is made with now versus a month and a half ago.... I understand the sharp rise in the cost of ingredients tomake a sub sandwich, as everything else has increased in our current reality, but I was both shocked and dismayed to discoverthat my go to sandwich selection "Roast Beef & Provolone" appeared to be a tad shy of it's normal girth this time around, andupon further inspection I quickly discovered the culprit.... It was missing half the amount of Roast Beef, again I understandthe need to increase prices for certain food items but it appeared that the price had increased and amount of roast beef used,was reduced and there lies my problems. Jersey Mike's subs are GREAT. But please, please, pretty please, could you make sure you're making your online orders correctly?... Ours has been wrong twice in the last 2 weeks. First time, sub completely forgotten. Second time, sub made wrong and picky kidunhappy. When you're literally filling out a detailed form for your order online and and doing all the work up front, it wouldbe nice for you to make it correctly and not forget things. Please do better. The servers took good care of us and made us a great sandwich! They had an incident occur between two patrons while we were in... the store and they handled it with great professionalism. I hope the manager sees this and gives them the accolades they deserveand maybe a raise, too! Read more
The sandwiches are excellent, but the service is?not so excellent. During the several times I?ve been to Jersey Mike?s, the... service has been quite slow and disorganized. It seems like each employee doesn?t have their own designated task and are allsimultaneously performing different tasks in an effort to be more efficient. However, the result is basically a cluster. Overallthough, the taste of the sandwich with the iconic oil and spice blend is worth the headache of trying to order. Read more
