Reviews for Duman Artisan Kitchen Pizza - Turkish & Greek Cuisine in Mandeville, LA
I would say the the food is pretty good. They were definitely understaffed the night I was there. It was a 20 min process to... ask for the bill then pay, and with a toddler 20 min is while. I'm not opposed to go back. Just in no rush to. The Foh staffwere very nice just overwhelmed. 4.01/5 Read more
Food was great. Pizza was surprisingly outstanding. The service was not very good, but I understand how difficult it is to get... people to work these days so I won't fault them for that. I'll definitely go back. Read more
Went to Duman for the first time and loved it! The service was really great, the food was incredible (and they have an extensive... menu), and the atmosphere is lovely (so nicely decorated). Between everyone at our table we had pesto knots, the whipped goatcheese, lamb and beef gyro, and cauliflower steak. It was all absolutely delicious. We will definitely be back. I am alreadythinking about everything else that I want to try! Read more
This is a restaurant that has had a hard time finding an identity. They opened up with great pizzas and Italian food and then... did away with the pizzas. Now they are a Greek/Mediterranean restaurant with pizza.... Whatever they are, the food is good andthe service is really good. Read more
Hummus was great, our pizza was less than impressive. I gave the poor review because of the microbial growth on the AC... diffuser’s & up at the ridge of the ceiling. I noticed a fairly strong odor, however my spouse didn’t. Read more
Popped in for a quick lunch between basketball games today(a Sunday). Owner/manager (not sure which) was very friendly and spoke... to us briefly. We were worried we were a little underdressed bc of basketball, but he didn't mention anything. Service wasgreat. Cauliflower pizza was delicious. Would definitely go back when in the area. Read more
Nice atmosphere, food was pretty good, all was going fairly well till we got the check for our lunch. My husband had ordered a... cauliflower crust pizza. When placing the order he asked the waitress how many toppings were included, she said he could chooseas many as he wanted. He got all of the vegetable topping options. When the bill came, each topping was a $2 charge and turned a$12 pizza into a $30 pizza. We called the waitress over and said we would pay the bill, but a $30 pizza-before we could saymore, she cut us off and said it says the price on the menu (obviously we missed that when we asked how many toppings wereincluded). She was so quick to cut us off and come back with it’s your own fault that I had the distinct feeling we were justtwo of many people who have had this issue. I still don’t see where it clearly says $2/topping when looking at the onlinemenu. Very disappointing. This place is close to home and we were envisioning making it a routine lunch stop. $64 lunches are abit steep and we’d prefer a meal without attitude on the side. Read more
My wife and I throughly enjoyed our dinner experience at Duman. The hummus and grape leaves were a great start to the meal and... was brought out timely. The pizza was also delicious with a perfect combination of ingredients. The option of a cauliflowercrust was a definite plus. The food was complemented by great service which always rounds out a great dinner experience. Ourserver was Deakin and we were very impressed by his ability to help guide us with menu choices given our preferences andattention to our order. He was spot on with bringing out our courses and was friendly, polite, and professional with service. Read more
