Visited on Srp 29th, 2022.This restaurant has some great concepts. An open atmosphere. A simplistic menu making it easy to... choose an entree. Decent and timely service. I didnt care for the bloody mary mix. Although the drink itself had the properamount of vodka. Two orders of eggs benedict. 2 out of 4 eggs were not properly poached. A real shame!. The waitress was not in a pleasant mood. We walked in and it was at the end of breakfast, just few minutes before 11 and she had... us wait by door while she and one other person bussed tables. She still had 4 tables eating. She finally told us to sit anywherethat was clean. It took her a while to get to is and when she asked for drink order, said she didn't have time to make it she isonly waitress. Food was good except one dish was not prepared correctly, requested no tomatoes and they were there big as day. Hopefully the waitress had a better afternoon. DD is under new management, and the management is bad. When we arrived, there were a few empty tables. The woman at the front... glared at us and kept doing what she was doing. We got another person to help seat us, which took 10 minutes. The menu was fine.Our waiter, who was lovely, aplogized for the wait. I ordered an oatmeal parfait with yogurt, chia seeds, coconut, fruit, andgranola. The hubs ordered a traditional breakfast with sausage and the kids got breakfast, too. ONE HOUR LATER the foodarrived. My parfait was a bowl of yogurt with a few berries over a couple of spoonfuls of granola. My husband's order wasminiscule in size, and the one sausage link was cut lengthwise to make it look larger. Our kids' breakfasts were tiny, too. Iwas told that they ran out of oatmeal, chia, and coconut. That was after waiting an hour. The waiter comped my $9 bowl ofyogurt, which was nice of her. The service was really nice but the French Toast was on the doughy side and the Seafood Omelette could have used some salsa or a... sauce. The hashbrowns tasted heavily of oil but I would definitely give them a second chance. Much potential! Read more

Nice quaint atmosphere. Really good food! Breakfast and lunch items ;closes at 3:00 pm. We really enjoyed our breakfast. ... Food was delivered quickly. They have yellow grits. A different taste but really good. The rest of the breakfast was good"diner"type food but inexpensive in comparison to some or her similar places. 2 eggs, 2 bacon. Grits and a biscuit was$7.99. The plates were not heaping but were good filling portions, you definitely didn't leave hungry. We will definitely goback again. Read more
