I arrived at 5:30 and while most of the inside was empty, I decided to wait for apatio table beside the river. Nice view. I ordered 1/2lb of wings dry with the sauce on the side and the Walleye "cheeks". Bothappetizers. The wings came out (5) with some kind of seasoning instead of dry but were good enough I decided not to complain.The cheeks come in light breading and were off and on so far as tender or overcooked. I know small pieces like that are hard tobe consistent in frying so no real problem. I had ordered ice tea but when it came out it was not very good. Not too many timesI send back tea but I switched to Dr Pepper. The server Karie, was very friendly and helpful. The issue came at checkout.Putting it on the hand held computer, I never saw an itemized bill until after I had gotten a receipt and left. Looking at thereceipt at the hotel I realized I had been charged for both the ice tea ($3)and the DP ($3) and also $.75 for putting the sauceon the side as if I ordered extra sauce. I didn't order extra, I just had them put it on the side. Next time I'll make sure Imake them show me the itemized version up front. Overall is was good but just plain. Nothing special. You do pay extra for theview. Overall I would give them another shot sometime but I'll probably try someone else first. There's just a couple ofwaterfront options. Read more
My wife and I really like the atmosphere and river views. The food is usually great as well. But if you order a signature drink... (non alcohol) be prepared to send it back. Consistency there is lacking. Read more
Went for an event and the food was buffet style. The steak tacos were good, but the chicken were not. That was disappointing,... especially considering the price. Otherwise, I liked the huckleberry drink options! Read more
Atmosphere and location are set up very nice and it has lots of potential. They just need to work through a few things before I... can rate them higher. Went there for brunch, but they forgot to add the drinks to their brunch menu and had to revert to onlinemenus just to look. Would also be nice to have the hours of brunch service available online and on the menu, so if someone showsup expecting lunch at 11am they can know. Service was slow and staff seemed very new which we expected based on what we sawonline, but they definitely could be handling that better by training staff to give that information to each guest right away soeveryone's expectations are clear. Food was great, but not perfect. Again, some additional training to staff may help as we wereserved ice cold butter for toast and my gravy was a little too close to soup for my liking, especially when served as a dip forfries. Hopefully they can get adequate staff with better training and service management as I would love to come back here on aregular bases and try more things. Update: Went back for dinner and had much better service. Fries are still some of the bestin town and Ruben was good as well. Read more
Classic burger - bland, taste burnt. Pastrami and egg sandwich - way to much mustard seeds but scrapped off and was good... afterwards. Chicken waffle - was so so. Chicken strips with fries - little bit dry but otherwise it was okay. Spicy chickensandwich with fries - lacking in seasoning. Walleye "cheeks" - breaded walleye slices dipped into ranch sauce. Was okay butcould be better on the flavor side. Chicken chicharromes - or rsther chicken bites. Nothing special just breaded chickenbites. Staff - Waiter subpar at best. Attitude reflected of someone who didnt want to be working. Hostess - New? Notsure. Atmosphere - Relaxing and calm. But only due to the river. Conclusion - food was not something special. Most likely wontcome back due to the simple fact that there are restaurants closer to homenwith better food. Would i recommend this place? No,most likely not. Read more
Randomly chose this place and didn’t know what to expect. Thought maybe it was gonna be princely because of the location which... maybe? But we had the Wagyu (I’m curious if it’s actually from Japan tho…) and the walleye sandwich. No complaints. Mybrother liked his burger and the fries were nice and crispy. The walleye was well seasoned and the sauce was nice. Don’tremember our server’s name but she was the only one there when we went and she was very kind. Read more
