We were looking to try some of the local favorites. Knoephla soup, Fleishfest, Carmel, rhubarb cinnamon roll. So fun to try... them. We had to take it and go. I wish we could have stayed in the 50 style diner, it was awesome. I also wish we could havetried the sauerkraut. We aren't from North Dakota so we wanted to try some of the foods that it is known for. The customerservice was awesome. Definitely go for a fun ND experience! Read more
If you don?t get anything else from this review, listen to this: GET THE CINNAMON ROLL PANCAKE! It is life changing!! Seriously,... the best pancake I?ve ever had. I also recommend the Country Fried Steak skillet. Very savory. Nice friendly service in anenvironment that reminds me of home (Charlotte, NC). This is a diamond in the rough. When I saw it driving to the Abraham Lincoln state park I was unsure. We were hungry and the... ranger at the park recommended it.. We gave it a try. Many of the menu items were things I had never heard of and could notpronounce.. But I was very happy with the food, staff and generally the entire experience. Highly recommended. Read more
We were not pleased to see some employees drink alcohol in their vehicles and smoking with other employee. Very unprofessional... and unsafe behavior. We have also reported this incident to police. Please get better employment. We love your food but we didnot like what we saw in the parking lot . Intoxicated driving isn?t okay and we hope they didn?t drive home after what wewitnessed. Servers are nice some of them but you guys have great cooks . Just disappointed in what me and my husband saw . Read more
