What a fabulous establishment! We stopped in for breakfast on our way to Canandaigua, and are so glad we did! Roy?s is a clean... and inviting restaurant with a breakfast menu that is so extensive I needed extra time to decide. Our food; a strawberryshortcake waffle and an eggs, sausage and home fries meal were delicious! Equally wonderful was our warm and friendly server,Renee. Next time in the area we will be back for the food and hopefully a visit with Renee! I normally do not take picturesof my food but glad I did to share the deliciousness! Read more
Great food. but we waited 1.25 HOURS for breakfast. I understand it was fathers day. so it will be busy. but we got 2 rounds... of pancakes and eggs... should not take that long. the wait staff was glorious. all of them were fantastic. but if you havea restaurant and the food takes that long, hire more cooks or you're screwing your serving staff out of tips that aren't theirfault. 1.25 hour is completely unacceptable for any food not to mention diner food. I love everything about this place!! Me and my son try to go there for a lunch dates every couple weeks!! The food is amazing... but the service is even better!!! Everyone has a smile, is so pleasant to talk to, from The kid Who cleans up the tables to theservers who always have a great recommendation on what?s awesome on the menu that day, and to the owner!! Who obviously knowshow to hire incredible employees !!! you feel like you walked into your family?s kitchen every time you go there! They do such anice job!! Been here twice now for lunch. I really like their breakfast. I've also had the burgers and fries. Fries are delicious! I always... order my burger medium, but seem to get well. Service is great. I was surprised that lemonade isn't eligible for refills likesoda and iced tea. Same with hot cocoa. The only issue I had one time was calling around 10a on July 4th to see if they wereopen. They said yes, but they're busy. I said my party would be in at noon. We all showed up starting at 10 of 12. When I wentto get a table they informed me of a sudden decision to close at noon, even though they were busy. Read more
Roy's is a medium to small place but it feels comfortable. The staff is courteous and friendly. The breakfast menu is not large... but it's a nice mix of traditional and unique breakfast fare that everyone should find enjoyable. The omelette I ordered wasserved hot and was delicious. I will definitely return and will recommend it to anyone looking for a good breakfast at areasonable price. They feature coffee from a local roaster and serve it in a larger than normal cup. Enjoy! On the spur of the moment we went to Roy?s it was Friday so we decided to have the fish fry. Well it was delicious the fish was... fresh and cooked perfectly. It came with coleslaw and fries but I replaced with macaroni salad which was homemade and verygood. The service is fast and efficient very clean restaurant. Definitely will be going back!!!! We often travel along the 90 from Western NY to downstate. We were hungry and luckily stopped in Manchester for breakfast. Roy?s... Restaurant has an amazing breakfast with choice of homemade bread and jam. The sausage with the eggs was also exceptional.Great service and prices too.
