We do pizza on Friday's and Pizza Express use to be our place to go! Within the last month everytime we call, it goes to a "this... call can not be completely as dialed..." message. After this happened twice, we drove by and to our surprise they were open, sowe ordered in house. The manager explained that someone must have bumped the phone off the hook. Well this has happened severaltime since. Every time we have to go into the establishment, order, then wait in the car for 30mins+. The manager uses the sameexcuses everytime. We use to leave a decent tip until we found out tips go strictly to management and aren't split among theemployees. Totally disappointed in these new negative customer service fails! My husband and I eat here fairly often. We have never been disappointed. The pepperoni pizza with black olives is my husband's... favorite. We both like the salad with chicken. The cheese steak grinder is great. The owner takes pride in what is served. Read more

Every time we order something is forgotten! Today my marinara sauce was missing. The poor driver went back to get it. Then I... realized my drink wasn't delivered. Didn't bother to call on that one. This is the only place I eat at in Manchester. Im originally from a big city that knows food, this place gives me that, with a... small town down to earth vibe. They are clean, timely, can do can specialty tailor-made dishes, and the food is of high qualityand delicious. My vegetarian wife loves it because it provides plenty of options, my picky eater son loves the pizza and pastasand there's not one meal that I had that I didn't love. I'm reading these reviews and literally laughing out loud. Workers arealways wearing gloves, are far from rude and go above and beyond to satisfy the customer. The owner will stay open a littleextra longer to make sure all customers are taken care. As i converse with other customers all they do is tell me how much theylove the place. Steak tips so salty that they were inedible on a salad and in a sub. The best they will do is make you go back so they can... remake it. No credit, no refund? why should the customer suffer and have to go back to the store? Shouldn?t it be made right anddelicious the first time? We have been ordering at this restaurant for year's however; recently, their attention to detail has declined substantially. I... can name multiple occasions where we have encountered issues. Issue 1: We placed an order for a large pizza which came in aboutan hour which is meh but okay. When my grandfather bit into the pizza, he almost choked on a piece of hard plastic that somehowfound it's way into the pizza. I called and talked to their management who refused to stand by the order. Issue 2: On at least4 or 5 different occasions over the years, they have forgotten our drinks. On numerous occasions have I called in and wasoffered the opportunity to just apply the value at the next order. Every time I would call in and mention this, they would actlost and I wouldn't end up getting the credit. Issue 3: I ordered a pizza and not only did it take almost 2 hours to get itdelivered, it was delivered cold and with the wrong drink. I called back the same night and was told I would get a call backfrom their manager. I never got a call back. I followed up the following day and was told their manager would call me back. Nocall back again. I called again today, and the manager made some convoluted excuse about how the pricing scheme of the"delivery" industry doesn't allow the overhead for them to discount orders or stand behind their poor service. They alsocontinued to make excuses about why the order was late. I understand there is a reason but not offering a refund or discount isunacceptable. To the owner of Pizza Express 2: I currently do all the ordering for multiple different households. (mygrandparents, parents, and my own) I currently average at least 5 orders a month. Because of the willingness to make up for poorand downright dangerous service at times, I will be ordering elsewhere and telling everyone who will listen about this. Read more
