Reviews for Golden Tao in Manchester, NH
Scallion Pancakes and Shrimp & Snow peas - both delicious! And, I appreciated that the shrimp & snow peas did not come... automatically with a side of white rice. Read more
Food was authentic and delicious! 100% on-point! This is Canton-style Chinese, which is the best (in my opinion), and Golden Tao... delivered the tastes and textures I was hoping for in Cantonese food. The staff: VERY friendly and accommodating. I called inan order about 10 minutes before they closed, and they happily took my order; they worked overtime, with their neon 'open' signturned off while they prepared my order. Thank you Golden Tao, I've become a loyal customer :-) Read more
Golden Tao has great food and the service is even better. Janet took care of us and did fantastic. We really enjoyed our meals,... shrimp with snow peas and Szechuan beef. We will be back during our short stay here in Manchester. Read more
Geared more to takeout than dining in, through they had a list of elaborate cocktails. The flavor of the day seemed to be... grease. I went because of the positive ratings. I won?t go again. Had sweet and sour soup, which was ok, but the scallionpancakes were deep fried and so greasy you hardly tasted the scallions, a thorough disappointment. Then I had crispy shrimp, which were again dominated by grease, so you could not really taste any of the flavorings. Tea came made from a teabag. Read more

I love this place - it's one of those hidden gems you won't notice straight away. The food here is top notch, and the prices are... more than fair for what you get. Read more
We used to live across the street and ordered weekly but we moved away. It used to be amazing! We were in the neighborhood today... and ordered takeout and it's definitely not the same! My vegetable lomein was 95% noodles only had a few vegetables! Stilltasted amazing but was lacking. The pineapple walnut shrimp was disgusting! Literally tasted like fried shrimp tossed in mayo!Had 2 pieces of broccoli and is served on lettuce? It used to be my favorite! Definitely a waste of 18 bucks! Generals chickenwas still good but extremely spicy. Read more
I did take out and most of the food was very good, almost on the same level as when I lived on Long Island. The Wong Tong Soup... did have I bit to many onions, but that's a matter of personal taste. Read more
