Having lived in Tejas as a kid I'm always on the hunt for great Mexican food in New England. Decided to give Consuelo's a try,... based on the great reviews. Regretted that. May have been an "off" night but we waited almost an hour for our dinners only to bedisappointed to find they got part of the orders wrong and food was bland & generally tasteless. I mentioned the order mixup &there was no offer to make it right. Just indifference by the young female server, who'd been rude & distracted from the momentwe were seated. On the upside - quality of everything was very good. Produce used was fresh & crisp, part of what makes realMexican food great. Too bad the cook that night was afraid of spices & the server obviously didn't want to be there. For theprice, lack of taste, indifference to order accuracy issue & failure to make it right, I'm hesitant to give Consuelo's Taqueriaanother try, especially with so many other Mexican restaurants in the area. Best Mexican food in Manchester/Concord area. Tacos, taquitos and burrito bowls were all excellent. Staff is great and... atmosphere was wonderful. New favorite spot ! Read more
After trying to be pleasant with the owner yesterday, today was as just a bad experience. See, I got a $50 gift card for my... birthday and both days went to use the gift card. When my guests and I ordered food inside of this restaurant, we were rushed,spoken to aggressively AND we received orders we did not ask for. EXAMPLE: Both days I asked for a CHICKEN chipotle burrito andboth times I received some type of shredded beef. I believe reviews have one purpose: explain your most recent experience andlet others determine for themselves if they want to partake in the experience. My current stance is: The place isn?t that bad,it just sucks how much they rush you when you walk in the door for the end result to be not the order you want. My boyfriend and I visited Consuelo's a couple weeks ago for a date night after I got out of work. We were warmly welcomed... immediately as we walked in and happily waited on. The staff was fantastic! The food was a 10/10. I had the chili verde burritoand loved everything about it. The spices came through clearly, the meat was tender, and the burrito was the perfect size to befilling! The chips on the plate were also delicious. The prices were also incredibly reasonable. If you're wondering if youshould visit Consuelo's Taqueria anytime soon, the answer is yes! Please go and try the delicious food and enjoy the pleasantatmosphere the staff creates. Read more

Have been coming here with friends for years. Always friendly staff and nice relaxed atmosphere. The only reason it is one... star down is the last time we went they really skimped on meat in burritos. It was not our experience in the past. Hopefullythey will correct it next time. Read more
Stood at the door for quite a while not knowing what to do....no one acknowledged us & no sign saying seat yourself or wait to... be seated. When we finally sat, waiter was rushed and curt but to be fair he was slammed. Food was good and very reasonablypriced! Read more
