The food was amazing! I had the chicken fried steak, came with 2 eggs, hash browns and 3 pancakes. I couldn't finish the last... pancake! The chicken fried steak was big and thick with perfect amount of gravy. Eggs were perfectly do e over hard. Meridien(server) did very well and was pleasant. Read more

The food was disgusting. I tried to overlook the presentation and tried one tiny bite, I could barely get that down. The... waitress never came around until she brought the bill. She didn't say a word about the fact that my food had been untouched. Itold her that it was not eatable, no sorry or anything... grabbed the plate and came back with a new revised bill giving me afull refund. That's the only part they got right. Eggs were small in portion but that is what made it right. It was just enough for my plate. The bacon was just the way I like... it. That mix between really crunchy but still has the chewy parts. Our waiter needs a little training on serving but that wasovershadowed by the other staff that came and checked on us. Our waiter came to take our order and to bring our food. Uncle Bill pancake house located in Manchester, Missouri. The potions of food are very large. The pancakes are so delicious all... of the omelette are large. The coffee is good. The maple syrup is always warm. The bacon is very crispy with great sausage too.The chicken and waffles are yummy.( my husband favorite) The private parking lot has lots of parking. Amazing breakfast spot! The bacon was crisped to perfection, the pancakes were fluffy and flavorful, and the eggs were good too.... My plate was loaded. Can't beat this old school diner for breakfast or lunch. Be ready to wait on a Sunday morning to be seated. Huge menu with... tons of choices. Servers are friendly and the manager is attentive. Very family friendly. Super casual. We had a little bitof everything - ice cream pancakes. Choc chip pancakes, sausage and gravy biscuits, eggs, sausage, bacon toast, mozzarellasticks, xlub sandwich, roast beef sandwich, blt... it was all served hot and tasted good.
