My daughter and I wanted to go eat Indian food last night. We went to a restaurant in Gainesville and were pointed to an area to... sit. We waited 15 minutes and there was no service, and since this is happened once before at the same restaurant, we left. Wesearch for another restaurant nearby and that’s how we found Rangoli Indian restaurant. We were warmly greeted by staff andthe waitress immediately took our order. The service was outstanding throughout the meal and more importantly the food wasequally outstanding. When I eat at a restaurant and everything I order is amazing, it generally means it’s a great restaurant.Everything was truly amazing. I will be back time and time again as this is now my go to restaurant for great Indian food. I canhardly wait to take my wife and see what she thinks. Thank you Rangoli. Read more
Ordered via too good to go, and highly regretted that decision. This place has potential however I went during peak dinner hours... and there was not one person inside. I should’ve cancelled the order right then and there as my first red flag. Second redflag was the food taste, wasn’t authentic at all, over powered packet masala if anything unfortunately. I’d love to see themstrive but my reviews and others speak for itself. I’ll give them a second chance without ordering through too good to go, andupdate then. Read more
Delivery was very quick which was great. But I was disappointed with the chicken korma. It was very cilantro-forward, with not a... lot of nutty flavor. The nan was also a little dry. The service was excellent but the flavors that make me love Indian food weremissing. Read more
My family and I LOVE Indian food.... However, this was the WORST. The butter chicken wasn't cooked properly and was red in the... middle. My tandoori salmon was dry and tasted like it had been freezer blasted and microwaved. My husband ordered The SeafoodKarma, there was no seafood in the bowl and the flavor was non existent. We had a great experience at Rangoli. The Bombay burger was a great appetizer and the main courses were good as well.
THEY HAVE A BUFFET!!!!!!!!!!! So many Indian restaurants have shut down their buffets because of COVID but thankfully this one... is still serving a delicious variety of food. Everything was so good! My only complaint was the naan. It wasn't as thick andchewy as some other restaurants, but that's the only thing that I didn't like. Thank you for the wonderful spread! We had the pleasure of working with Rangoli for our wedding reception. The food was delicious - we chose a mix of South Indian... and North Indian dishes, and the team delivered our vision perfectly. Everything from the initial tasting, to communicationduring contracting and menu finalization, to day of plating and service was excellent. Several guests complimented the food -which is not always a guarantee when it comes to Indian food prepared for a larger crowd. Would also like to specificallyhighlight the high quality and professionalism of the manager, Kumar. We were a pandemic couple, initially meant to be marriedin April 2020, and had many changes of plans and postponements. Throughout all of this, Kumar led with empathy; always willingto work with us through adjustments to the format of our event. He was very understanding and kind throughout our discussions ofchanges, in a time that must have been very challenging for wedding vendors and the restaurant industry. We sincerely thankKumar and the full Rangoli team for making our wedding reception memorable in every way. It was my first time trying an app called “too good to go” where you pay a low price for a surprise meal bag so the... remaining food at the restaurant doesn’t go to waste, basically it should be a win win, food at a great price and reducingfood waste. Well unfortunately in my case it was a huge disappointment, the restaurant gave me burnt inedible food that I had tothrow in the trash, I mean I know I shouldn’t be expecting a fancy meal for that price but I definitely wasn’t expecting todrive about an hour back and forth and then having to throw the food in trash, what a waste of money, time and gas. Therestaurant should be offering a decent meal even if it wasn’t at full price, if this is their food quality then you shouldavoid at all cost (no wonder this big restaurant had only one table occupied when I was picking up the food) Read more
