Delivery took 2 hours and 15 minutes on a Tuesday night. Edit: ordered again, food came quicker, but was so gross I couldn't... eat it. Even the general tso chicken was so awful it was just thrown in the trash. Nasty food here, nothing like the oldbarnegat one. Read more
If i could give zero stars I would. I tried to order for delivery tonight, I asked if they could recommend a tender chicken... dish and he couldn't understand the question and lost his mind. I could barely understand him and asked if I could speak withsomeone that spoke English better, he got more angry and I hung up. It was a horrible experience considering this place used tobe our go to place years ago. If there's a better chinese delivery out there someone should speak up because it's not on Googleor anywhere else! Do not order from here!!! Read more
Honestly the most disgusting chicken I ever tasted in my life. Not only did it taste like the batter they fried it in was pure... salt but the taste of the chicken gave a faint smell of ammonia, almost like it was doused in rubbing alcohol before frying it.I'd rather get cancer than eat here again. Had dinner here with my daughters and definitely will not go back. Table was sticky. We were served fried wontons but they were... all crushed and it was served with packets of duck sauce. Biggest mistake was going for sushi. Seaweed was grayish in color andnot dark green. Tempura shrimp sushi was ok BUT the spicy tuna was soooo bad that we couldn't eat it at all. Texture was chewyand definitely not fresh at all. I didn't expect the greatest but also didn't expect the worst sushi I ever had. Chinese foodwas ok but definitely wouldn't recommend this location. I have ordered from here for YEARS. I ordered beef and broccoli and a dozen other things. Nice size order. I get an entire tray... of broccoli not a single piece of beef. They told me next time you order well give you free beef and broccoli. No. That defeatedthe purpose of ordering tonight. So I wont be ordering from Golden jade anymore. Good food. Bad service. I took my girlfriend here for lunch, we were the only ones in the restaurant and it took the server 10... minutes to acknowledge us. We ordered and everything seemed normal until another couple arrived. They say down and got whatseems like the presidential treatment. The server went right over, even brought them snacks! I did explain to him when payingthe bill that he needs to treat all customers the same and why he's not getting a tip. Best of luck to you Golden Jade. Read more
Highly Overpriced. Between New York and Philly this is the first time I've ever seen over 10 dollars for a quart of beef with... broccoli. Must have been the full cup of oil it was drenched in. Staff were reasonably friendly, thou and the business looksclean, at least. Read more
Ordered from here last night, the chicken was so DISGUSTING, we had to throw it all in the garbage! We always used to order... from here , but they have gone downhill last few times. Definitely will be our last time ordering from them. Save your money andgo somewhere else! Read more
