Only thing wrong with my visit is I can?t give you any more stars! Simply amazing. When people say they?ve had the best fall... off the bone ribs they are obviously not familiar with Shorty?s ribs! Wow. Tasteful tender and just a mess to keep them wholelong enough to eat them! May I please have a fork next time!! The original sauce is what we went with. Tangy and tasty. Notsweet like some overtly sugary sauces. As for the sides: The beans?excellent! The potato salad?excellent! Great find on ourrambling Saturday afternoon drive through the Ozarks!! Read more
Food was average for bbq. The ribs were cooked in foil and did not have the good smoke on them. Brisket was cut thin I think... because it was not smoked like a normal bbq brisket, maybe cooked in foil in an oven. Sides were homemade so that was good. Read more
The cheese dip was gross. There was a ton of fat in our sandwiches. The price for a 32 oz was really expensive. So we went down... the street and got 2 drinks for the price of one of theirs. Read more
The beans and potato salad were excellent but the brisket was sad and thinly sliced.
Stopped here for lunch and was not disappointed. Friendly staff and quick service. I had the pork and brisket sandwich and Jimmy... had the jumbo brisket sandwich. My husband and I just shared the loaded nachos here, which consists of chips with pulled pork, baked beans, coleslaw, jalapenos,... sour cream, and the barbecue sauce of one's choice. It was awesome! Also, the lady who took care of us was so friendly andwelcoming. Definitely a great place to stop in Mammoth Spring! Read more
Had a great visit to Shorty's Rib Shack. Came down to watch "Randy Santel and Brandon Da Garbage Disposal Clark" thanks for... hosting them. My daughter and I got the sampler platters, a 1/2 rack of ribs and cole slaw. The smoked meats were great, alljuicy and mouth watering, very tender. Thanks Shorty and staff. Read more
Was not a fan of the coleslaw or the potato salad. Sausage was average. Sauce was good.
