I ordered their signature Sicilian pizza slice. Good amount of cheese and good crust texture. I'm glad I tried this pizza while... passing through. Read more

When I moved to Mamaroneck. Everyone told me ?Yo. You gotta go to Sals?! My 1st experience going to Sal?s was back in... Mid-August. It was 10-deep for pickup?s, orders and lurkers. The staff at Sal?s managed the counter like a Battleship on the RedSea. They got their whole operation on dial down to the crust. Ever since then I was got the Sicilian because it was the bomb????. Literally a slice not to mess with! This afternoon was my 4th tour at Sal?s. Ready to strong and get double Sicilian. ThenI thought twice. Hmmm. The 1st slice may take me out before the sequel. Ironically there was a woman ahead of me that got aSicilian and a Regular slice. Asked her. ?Is that what everyone does?? Kindly responded back. ?That?s What I do?! Rest assured Igot a Sicilian and a Regular slice. My next feat will be a Chicken Roll ???? ! Read more

Ordered calzone, garlic bread and lasagna. Garlic bread was pretty good. Calzone small, expensive and barely there. The lasagna... was horrible. Tasted like flat 3 day old sour cheese. My wife got sick from it while still at Sal?s. Sick for 3 days after. Ifyou go to Sal?s, have the canned soda. It?s fresh not like the expensive food. The place is dangerous. The staff nasty, serviceslow. We ordered a soda at the table and had to pay cash on the spot for it during dinner (if you could call this garbagedinner) the worst dining experience since skinning my own food while hunting when I was 16 (that was over 50 years ago) itshould have given us a clue when we walked in thirsty and I asked for a soda at the counter and had to pay for it then and therebecause they wouldn?t or couldn?t add it to our future dinner bill in the seating area. But when paying for dinner at the endsomeone who seemed like management yelled to the cashier ?he as 2 sodas?. I yelled back ?I paid cash for the first on when I gothere? (of course I paid cash for it, they don?t take cards or any other forms of payment) Read more

Absolute landmark status. If you?ve never had you must try and see why they?re so popular. In my experience this is the home of... the salad pizza slice. Many many many years ago I remember this was the first pizzeria to do it. Still done exactly the samesince they invented it (i?m pretty sure they invented it, I?m gonna go ahead and say they invented it). Regular slice or whiteslice also good. Sicilian slice is extraordinary! Read more

Best Sicilian Pizza on the planet. Their thin crust is really good too but the thick, flavorfull and cheesy Sicilian can't be... beat. I've been huge fan for over 25 years Read more

Sal's is always awesome. Great for lunch, dinner, anytime. Take-out or dine in. Salad pizza is to die for.

It?s still some of the best pizza anywhere - and the only spot I will travel an out of my way for. No one makes Sicilian like... they do, and while salad pizza was a fad when it came out, Sal?s made it best and still does it right. Their plain slice is alsoa classic New York style. See why locals are hooked on it for generations. Read more
