Perfect classic diner that has remained consistent all my life. When I go to a diner I want cheeseburger deluxe, fries with... gravy, that sort of thing. Home made desserts, milk shakes, Belgian waffles. Yum. Read more
Been going here since I was young, but not so much recently. Was in the area and went in to grab a quick bite at the counter. ... Waiter who was very nice took my order, but as I waited I realized there were flies everywhere. I get that it's summer, buteven the muffins that have clear covers on them had flies crawling around on the inside. Was pretty gross. I Love the diner food and service is amazing! 4 stars, While waiting to pay, phones are ringing and was ignoring the calls ,... when she finally decided pick up(one call) . My child and I are right in front her ready to pay (already 10 mins waiting), 5'2(pink shirt) manager?? Someone was waiting to be seating as well had her back towards the lady, Doesn't acknowledge us or her atall, I said hi! She ignored us completely! She complaining over the phone that she's feels like she's working alone and someonewho supposedly in the bathroom for 10 mins ! (Seriously) your complaining but yet providing horrible customer service, twowrongs don't make a right but seriously if you can't multitask just say that and be honest . But do not ignore my child withrude dry attitude, she didn't even say thank you or apologize for the wait. Sorry to say she ruining the restaurant image. My nephew, sister & I have visited numerous times & each time it has not disappointed! We usually order the same: grilled... chicken breast, fries, etc. & it's always good. The best dessert is the warm brownie with ice cream, whip cream with a drizzleof chocolate & walnuts topped with a cherry...yummy!! My nephew has tried all the milk shakes. His favorite one has oreocookies, M&M's (& more chocolate stuff I can't remember...lol) We don't feel rushed to finish our meal. The waiters we've hadhave been very easy & friendly to deal with. Our tables have always been clean & with no weird residue on them. The ladiesbathroom smells very nice & kept very clean. The atmosphere is friendly & cozy. Patrons are mostly families. It's quite busy butsurprisingly not noisy! Great parking area including handicap spots. Prices are up there but with everything increasing, thevalue & quality of the food it's just fine with me.
