Ordered fish and chips and fried shrimps with fries.. both were super delicious!! This place have their own parking outside and... parking spot was readily available. You can enjoy your food right along the coastline looking at the waters. The portion is morethan enough for one person. Read more

The fried seafood was great and the water from the water station was good and cold tasting water which was what we needed. We... had just came from a hike and was looking to have a good meal - and Neptune?s was suggested on the internet. It?s a self seatingstyle and you order at the front and wait for your number to be called. The service was fast. They have a LARGE fridge of drinkselections which is really nice, self serving water and sauce, napkins and sanitation station. They also have free saltines. Weordered the New England clam chowder in a bread bowl ? which, the bread was definitely not fresh and felt a little stale and theclam chowder was thick. It was good but wasn?t stellar, if you?re comparing it to real clam chowder from New England (Boston,Maine, etc.) I would not recommend getting the clam chowder if you had the choice between that and the other selections. Wealso got fish and chips/ sweet potatoe fries substitution - they were great, and so were the triple sampler ? fried shrimp, clams, calamari, and fries. They also had coleslaw but it wasn?t good. It was a delicious meal overall excluding the sourdoughchowder bowl and coleslaw. Definitely a vibe here! It?s also next to county line beach so if you wanted to you could take outfood and bring it across the street to eat. Read more

This place is such a gem. It?s fast it?s yummy. I would say the only downside are the porta potties, but it?s not that bad. We... had the crab cake basket and fish and chips. The crab was good but the fish was amazing! Read more

07/12/22: I visited Neptune?s Net while on vacation in SoCal. I was looking forward to trying this place and and was really... disappointed. The restaurant was fairly busy on a Tuesday afternoon with most tables outside filled with guests. The insidetables were empty. The restaurant reminds of a typical dive type restaurant with little frills. You due get a view of the oceanalong some of the outside tables. I ordered the Neptune?s Net sampler, clam chowder in a sourdough bread bowl, and grilled fishtacos to go. The food definitely wasn?t cheap. My bill was right over $100 with a tip. I didn?t have to wait very long for myfood after ordering. Probably less than 10 minutes. All the seafood was dry and/or overcooked. The clam chowder was the bestthing. I forgot to take a pic of the bread and chowder. It wasn?t a traditional New England style clam chowder. I think therewas dill or some other herb that was prominent that made the chowder interesting. Maybe ordering to go wasn?t the best optionand the food would have been better fresh. Read more
