Good food, great service by Jen, nice decorating. Clean and comfortable.
After a bad experience a few months getting ice cold "broiled" flounder (take out order) I decided to give them another chance.... Big mistake. When I got home with my order, which was also my mom's birthday dinner, the chopped steaks had no gravy or friedonions. All we got were dry, over cooked (had ordered medium well), meat patties. To top it off, they didn't even put the soupin with the order either. Had to drive all the way back. Asked for a refund, they gave me a hard time, not thinking that theydid anything wrong. Boss telling me not to cause a scene. I said, give me my money back and I'll be out of here. He finally did,then had the nerve to tell me not to come back, as if it was my fault. You're greeted with a smile and made to feel welcomed right away. It has a very pleasant atmosphere. Cute and clean. The menu is... very diverse and affordable. I highly recommend this restaurant. Averi White is the best waitress ever ?????? Read more
Every time I've been here has been fantastic until yesterday (7/31/22) for Sunday breakfast. I wish I could remember the snotty... little servers name who was working the back, serving us on the banquette for 6. She was very rude, short with us, told us weordered wrong when she brought sausage instead of bacon. She even pointed in her book where she wrote the wrong thing... and whocares who was wrong? Did you really come back and say "actually sir, you did say sausage" and point in your book? Ridiculouslyunprofessional and very lucky someone else left the $20 tip bc I paid the tab. She was so fake and condescending. I will makesure I don't get her section ever again. I will also let her know that you don't treat tables that way. I didn't do it Sunday bcI didn't want it to be a scene at the table with my parents. Good luck ever getting a better serving job with that snotattitude! I hope the owner actually reads this review too. She gave us prompt service but definitely needs training in customerservice. Read more
Love the special they have! Service and almost all the food is great. Only had one bad thing and it was a burger. I expected... so much more from it since everything else is so amazing. Order anything but a burger you will not be disappointed. Read more
Not a big fan of diners...but Malaga has decent food at reasonable prices
Generous portions. Beef and cabbage soup was amazing. My fiance had the split pea soup and he loved his too. If you love sweet... potato fries, you won't be disappointed. Sandwiches were huge. I had a chicken cheesesteak and he had one of their specialtysandwiches with pastrami. His greek side salad was as big as an entree size at many restaurants. The painted windows were nicetoo. Edit: Definitely downgrading my 5 star to a 1 star! Waited a good while to get waited on this time. Then food was nothing as it... was the last time I went, I literally lost my appetite. Literally drove almost 30 mins for nothing. To top it off server wasnowhere to be found that I had to ask man up front for boxes and check. Yup no thanks not worth the trip!
