Imagine you wanted to open a coffee shop with other offerings too. It would be whimsical, funky. rooted in the ethos of the... community. That is MOXI Junction. Where else have you been where a bicycle hangs from the ceiling and a bike pump supports onecorner of the sink. Such is the bathroom on the left as you walk down the hall. This place features and supports local artists.We attended a folk performance by a local musician staged on part of the outside grounds. There is a wraparound porch completewith rocking chairs. The only knock is this place is roughly 20 miles from my house. It's attractive enough to make me wish Ilived in Maize. Seriously, if you are looking for a quiet, comfortable weekend destination. An adorable little coffee shop. I've been coming to this place since they've opened. They are a bit pricey, but about the same... price compared to Starbucks, and tastes MUCH better. They are also Autism Awareness members, and have tons of little nik nacksyou can buy. Definitely a great place to go to! Read more
I have been here twice and have enjoyed it a lot! I love the upstairs area as there is a lot of seating and natural light. The... coffee has been excellent both times I have come and is comparable to other coffee shops in the Wichita area (and better than afew others too I might add). The staff if friendly and always gets my drink out very quickly. If you are in wichita, it is worththe quick drive over to Maize to get good coffee and have a peaceful place to get some work done. MOXI has some of the best coffee in the Wichita area. My fav is the Amaretto latte-it isn?t super sweet like some coffee shops... make their lattes. You can add sugar but I really like the flavor and it smells so good! The decor is handmade and verycreative! I am excited to check out the live music in the future! Absolutely amazing local coffee shop run by the most amazing kind hearted people ever!! Truly a blessing everytime I go in. The... decor and atmosphere is absolutely beautiful!! The owner is a sweet kind lady that just makes you wanna smile!!
