There are so many great Mediterranean restaurants here in Orlando, however we were so lucky to come here! I was in the mood for... some roasted chicken, so this place popped out just by the name itself. First of all, prices are insanely reasonable. For$10-12 you can get a huge meal to fill you up! Do note that prices are temporarily up by 10%, and this is a separate charge yousee on your receipt. Now the quality is just as insane. I got a half roasted chicken with potatoes and pasta salad. The pastasalad was perfect, it had the right amount of that 1000 island dressing. It was subtle enough to not overpower the dish, andpaired with perfectly cooked pasta, it was fantastic. The roasted potatoes were also really good. I thoroughly enjoyed thelight, mildly seasoned chunks of potatoes, allowing for the chicken to shine. Now the chicken. Oh my goodness. This wasbeautifully roasted. The chicken had a nice, slightly crispy and majorly flavorful skin that covered the juiciest chicken I?veever had. There was so much flavor infused throughout the meat, and it literally would fall apart on its own as I was eatingit. Overall this restaurant blew us away and I would come back again in a heartbeat! This place has the best flavors any respectable tongue can appreciate. Have you ever had chicken melt in you mouth and burst... with flavor? Have you? If you haven't you need to do your mouth and stomach a favor and eat here. To go, in the restaurant, eatin your car, eat it on the moon. It's delicious. Read more

A friend recommended Athena for dinner; glad I went! The restaurant is CLEAN & bright with plenty of seating inside - and some... outside seating as well surrounded by lots of plants. / The lamb gyro was super-delicious. Also got a side of hummus (a bitsoupy) with some butter-grilled pita bread (yummy) & a Greek salad (average). Decent prices + Delicious food + Friendly staff =I'll be coming back for sure! Read more
My wife and I have stopped here often to pick up some take out for lunch or dinner. This restaurant specializes in Greek... cuisine, rotisserie chicken, and other delicious dishes. We had our chicken with 3 sides, broiled potatoes, green beans, andzucchini, and for dessert we enjoyed some baklava. Woww was all delicious. I will be back. I highly recommend this place!!! Good experience with the employees during pick up. Terrible experience with the food when I got to my office 5 minutes later... and attempted to eat it. The items were not fresh. I included a picture of what items not to place in the customers tray orplate. The onions, tomatoes and cucumbers were old and mushy. I had to scrape it all off in order to eat the main item. Thisshould not be a practice at any restaurant. Proper employee training is required. If you and your employees would not eat itemsthen they need to be tossed and fresh items need to be made. This was my second try at this place. Sorry but after each visit Iwas left disappointed by the food. Fix this problem if you expect people to return and help keep you in business. Read more
Delicious! I had the half chicken with two sides and shared a large Greek salad. My two sides were potatoes and zucchini and... tomatoes. The salad had a small amount of potatoes which was a first for me. I recommend this for anyone wanting somethingdifferent and delicious! My photo is what I couldn't finish! Generous portions here!
