To anyone in the Mahwah area, this is an astounding Italian restaurant you should definitely check out. Their Margarita Pizza... was phenomenal! Quite pricey but what do you expect from a high-end Italian restaurant. Finally, the best place to sit is thepatio area. Very happy with my meal here. The brick oven pizza has a thinner crust but still manages to be soft which is hard to find. The... chicken wings were huge, not like the wings you find at most places. The service was phenomenal, numerous employees around toensure everything is great. I unfortunately need to address a couple faults, however, with great food and service my reviewstill stays a 5. The rolls brought out were cold, hard to spread butter on a cold roll, heat them up. Secondly, the fact youcharge 3.5% for using a debit card is more than what it costs you as the business to pay for the transaction. Debit cards arefar cheaper to process than credit cards, and even credit cards don?t charge the business 3.5%, so this is unfair. Thirdly,while you are hugely popular it is hard to to the business from the road, trim some of the beautiful landscape down just a bit.Otherwise you guys rock. Read more
Service was great, food not so much. I use to come here years ago, decided to bring my family for a girls night out! We ordered... sodas a few alcoholic beverages and beers, they were solid. Then we ordered calamari and mozzarella sticks, calamari was verysquishy and chewy?. We looked past it. Ordered chicken parm, egg plant parm, ziti with vodka sauce, cheese ravioli w vodka sauceand penne vodka w chicken. The vodka sauce tasted burnt, in all three dishes!! -___- We we?re given the wrong order for both thechicken parm and the eggplant parm, serving shrimp parm to the person who ordered chicken parm. And serving chicken parm to theperson who ordered eggplant parm lol. We get it, they are all breaded so it gets confusing, but if someone had a severe allergythis could?ve been very very Bad. All and all, ambiance great, staff great, food needs some work. I?m hoping the chefs just hada long, rough day because I know Roxanne?s can do better than this. Read more
