Worst Italian food we've had in a very long time. Chicken parmigiana was way to thick and not crispy, sauce had absolutely no... flavor. We tried this place quite a few times both indoor dining and take out to give them a chance and evertime chicken thick,mushy and not crispy! We will not be going back. Read more

Lived in Jersey from birth 1960-2004 ?..But I also love Tennessee too?..I spentthe first 44 years of my life in The Garden State?and I wanted to give my Tennessean friends a true experience in an authenticJersey Italian Restaurant and I got nothing but fantastic feedback from all of my Tennessee friends. Service was great, thank you Craig. Bathroom was clean. The restaurant is surprisingly spacious. We ordered a variety of food to... try: eggplant meatballs were rich and seasoned well with a deliciously crisp outside. The Cabernet was smooth and tasty. Thepizza?s crust was thin and crisp and the cheese was good- not too greasy. The Lasagna both meat and eggplant had just the rightamount of seasoning. Overall, an excellent experience. Pizza was not good. Dough was partially raw. Tomato sauce tasted plain. The San marzano tomato pizza clearly had regular Roma... tomatoes on it. Not ordering from here again. Response to the owner: I don't need for you to "explain" how your pizza is made.This is not the first time I've ordered pizza. Also, not the first time I've ordered pizza from your restaurant. Neapolitanstyle pizza is supposed to be slightly raw because of the short time in the oven, not inedibly raw. Vaccination status hasnothing to do with whether someone wears a mask or not. Visiting my daughter at college and was looking for an Italian restaurant. Found Novino and could not have been happier. The... service was attentive and friendly but the food was really wonderful. We started with a rice ball appetizer which was delicious.I had the shrimp parm with homemade pappardelle pasta which was also a nice portion and was perfect. I would definitely go backnext time we visit and really enjoyed it. Read more
