We ate at LA Memphre twice during our stay in Magog. It's a great pub right next to the harbour and directly across from lake... Magog and a beautiful park. The food was excellent, as was the service. I, for the most part, tried to have all ourconversations with staff in French, but they were more than happy to clarify in English. The ambiance is cottage like with lotsof windows and wood. It certainly must be popular because both times we went it was busy. Their beer, according to my husband,was delicious. Their cider, was crisp, refreshing and dry. It is unfortunate that it can't be bought in the SAQ. I guess we'lljust have to go back!!!! Read more

Made a quick stop while on our way through town and we tried the beer tasting platter. All our four choices were tasty and the... service was exceptionally friendly and quick despite a line out the door. I was thoroughly impressed with our server. We visited this place after a 10k hike at the Orford National park. At 5:45pm there was a line to get in, however with 4.5*... ratings in GOogle, we decided to wait patiently in line. Our initial impression of their customer service was great, with theirmini beer glass offer! They brought us to a ?new patio section? with a kind of tiki bar. We liked the quietness however felt itlacked a little finesse in the decorations. We ordered two beer sampler packs , and a few food items, the fish n chips, the duckpoutine and the fried pickles with spicy mayo. The food was good, maybe lacking a little in the flavour department otherwise werecommend this place, especially if you?re visiting from outside. Read more

Went there for supper. They did not take reservations but we arrived around 7pm on a Friday night and waited about 20 minutes... (2people) I recommend highly as the food was excellent and good beer too! FYI if you stay at a nearby B&B you might be entitlefor some rebates! Read more
