Our Anniversary Dinner at J. Arthur's Restaurant could not have been better, thanks in part to our delightful, attentive server,... Stephanie. When we told her it was our anniversary dinner, she went above and beyond to make the occasion special for us,including bringing an ice cream Parfait at the end of our meal. We greatly enjoyed our entrees: Chicken Marsala and BourbonPecan Crusted Chicken. I understand that the beautiful Autumn decor was provided by another local business, The Cabbage Rose,and everything was so festive! Highly recommended and we will look forward to another visit! So we have eaten at J Arthur?s for many years 27 to be exact. Our meal tonight was far less than we expect when paying $35 for ... each ribeye (2) and $27 for salmon (2). The fish was dry and not tasty at all although the steak was satisfactory. Our saladswere iceberg lettuce and well if I need to explain that then not worth explaining. We ordered a cosmo and a Manhattan which wasserved in a ice tea glass full of ice! No not a martini glass a ice tea glass with lots of ice! When I asked our waiter what washappening with that he replied, I don?t know I?m only 20??. We?ll ok, can you not ask the bartender what the heck is happening? Read more

Long wait, good food, nice big portions, beautiful Christmas decor. Trout was very good. I give it 3 stars due to the waiter and... his eye roll when we told him we were ready to order. Then we asked for ketchup, he brought us mustard, he also forgot oursilverware. Read more

J Arthurs never disappoints. Food is always delicious. We have gone twice during the holiday season and the decorations are... absolutely beautiful. Cabbage Rose helps with this. When I saw the Christmas tree I said ?It?s even as beautiful as the Biltmoretree. They did an awesome job. Read more
