Oh my, I'm sorry.. but the food..it was terrible. The "spaghetti" was so overcooked it was mushy...CUT into TINY pieces. The... "Italian Sausage" was the premade crumbled stuff you throw on pizza...and COVERED in an inedible sauce. The waitress spent sometime vacuuming the floor around us???? (sorry.. but I'd rather not have that dust landing all over my table). We asked for boxesand threw it away at home. We were hoping for the best, as it would save a drive to Asheville when looking for dinner options...sadly we will not be back. Read more
Often times the good food can be found at the less than conspicuous places. While in Maggie Valley we wanted something other... than BBQ so we stopped at Cafe Italiano. The staff is very friendly and the food was great. Large portions and full of flavor. Read more
We went in on the 4th of July and they were super accommodating even with all the crowd. Food was delicious. We had the... Manicotti, Chicken Parm, a Calzone and a pizza. All of it was fantastic. Highly recommend. Read more
If you are looking for a quiet romantic place to bring the significant other or spouse while on vacation this is the place to... go… It’s a little pricey for pizza, but well worth it! If you are looking to eat a pizza by yourself… Purchase a smallbecause the medium and large sizes are HUGE! The thin crust was perfectly thin, but next time I will request for my crust to becrispier on the bottom which I believe is a preference not a necessity since more people may like it soft. Best Italian food I've ever eaten. Who knew the mountains would have better food than the major cities. Spinach artichoke dip... was chunky and buttery. The calzone was dough but had the smoothness of a buttermilk biscuit. Mozzarella held the flavors of theherbs peppers and olives. Cheap but taste 5 star.
