TOP NOTCH!!!!! They were really a welcome surprise on my long road trip. Had the shrimp gumbo and fried gator with a sampler of... their other food and it was all delicious. If you want shrimp 'done right' then you need to visit Shrimpys. Other seafood as well including alligator (well prepared) and... frog legs. You can get seafood fried or grilled. Very good service. Very reasonably priced. Easy drive from Huntsville,esp ifyou take the opportunity to exit 136 and continue north 2 to 3 miles. (Instead of taking the Madisonville exit and go in backsouth). HIGHLY recommended, right off I-45 N towards Dallas just past Huntsville. Everything I ordered was made fresh, all the way down... to the sauce. By far the freshest seafood north of the Woodlands, and the waitress was so accommodating! She gave us two extraorders of hush puppies for the wait.
