Delicious and fresh, sweet tea was amazing. Our waitress was sweet and super nice to our little boy, we went in about a hour... before closing wasn't a wait and the place wasn't busy , most places seem to get a attitude when you show up before closing, but we had just got in from a 7 hour trip, the food hit the spot and the service was spot on. Here recently it has been a hit or miss with this location, about once a week i mobile order, tater tot hash brown bites and a... Dr Pepper. Sat for 10 minutes and had to go get a server just to get water. Water tasted like sulphur and were told after they served it to... us that Madisonville had a water issue. The restaurant closed st 9, we rolled in at 8:10. I'm sure the staff was tired and more than ready to call it a night but you... couldn't tell it. We had the friendliness most cheerful waitress. It was a party of 6. We ordered a variety of food from asimple grilled cheese and fries to the days special. It all came out hot, good and fast. Disappointing experience. The food was decent, but not up to Cracker Barrel usual standards. Service was slow and the waitress... didn't remember our drink orders for refills. Only forks for silverware, had to ask for napkins, the salt was so wet it was agiant clump in the shakers. We tried more than one shaker, same results. Eggs were cold, hash brown casserole was barely warm,and for some reason tasted like cinnamon. The biscuits were good and hot, with the few packs of butter we were given. Read more

We were seated at a dirty table, chairs also had crumbs in them. We moved ourselves to a clean table and when the waitress come... back it was the wrong drink. After correcting the order the waitress brought our beer order already in a glass unlike everbefore always in an unopened can. So what did we get?salt shakers had so much moisture in them nothing came out and we triedseveral!!We had to ask for knives as the silverware pack only had forks. However, throughout this experience the waitress wasvery helpful. We noticed that she was the only waitress for a very large dining area.
