Was excited to try after seeing so many great reviews, theres a mexican market in the same space that you go pick out your drink... and pay at, the service was quick and space was nice and clean but unfortunately the food wasn't anything to write homeabout. The breakfast torta was decent but I've never had chorizo so bland in my life. The orange sauce at the table is actuallypretty good but the heat hits on the backend so use sparingly if you don't like heat. They also have the dryest enchiladas I'veever seen, red sauce was there but it was baked on/dryed out completely. Oddly smothered in onions, sour cream and lettuce. Whenyou're trying to get rice in every fork full JUST to get some moisture into the bite you know the enchilada is lacking. Read more
Why so low? My daughter loves this place. Why? Not sure. She bought me 3 steak taco. There was basically nothing in it besides... cilantro and white onions. Plain. No taste. No salt. No oil. So dry. Why do people eat here? If their simple main dish is this,why bother. I?m sure it?s Authentic Mexican food? but, make it better!!!! Please!!!! My wife and kids eat Taco Bell all thetime. I?m a simple taco guy, but I have to have cheese and tomato and sour cream and hot sauce. The 1 hot sauce they providedwas a joke. I?m not new to hot sauce because I?m Asian. I do like Pico de gallo. Some of you are saying stuff like, ?it?s thebest Mexican food I have ever had?. Seriously. Go to Taco Bell. Taco Bell is a chain but they taste their food before theydesign it and sell it. Real Deal! These are better than some of the tacos I've had at fancy restaurants in Mexico. Strong recommend!
Went in for a To-Go order on a Friday night pretty busy! The menu is really straight forward and I found the staff helpful and... patient. I think I got these three tacos and some grilled onions (about a dollar highly recommend!) on the side for about10-11$. Comes with a red hot sauce (spicy!!!) and a creamy green sauce. The wait time was about 15 minutes. No complaints, solidtacos and will be back! Read more
This place is one of the most authentic and finest taco joint in Michigan. Their breakfast burrito is amazing. Tacos are also... great. Especially their birria taco with gravy sauce was truly exceptional. Read more
A real hidden gem! This place is half Mexican convenience store, half restaurant. Whenever I go, I always stop into the store... and find a new candy or something I haven?t tried before. As for the food, it?s absolutely amazing. I?m not particularly a fanof Mexican cuisine, however, this place is completely stellar. So authentic and fresh. The shrimp tacos, elote, pork tacos, andchips and salsa are to die for. With prices you would pay at freaking Taco Bell! Give a small business a shot and get some realfood! ?????? Food was good. I got the carnitas, chicken and marinated pork (with cheese of course). I didn?t love their regular salsa, I?ve... had better. It was missing something - parts were bland and then had a small kick. Just wasn?t flavorful enough for me. The redsauce that comes with your tacos was really good. Read more
This place sells simply the best tacos around in the Detroit area (this is validated by one of my Mexican friend who?s family... sells tacos in Mexico). This restaurant is very small with a small grocery store attached. Ambience is something to neglectbecause the food is excellent. They have a limited menu items and almost everything is excellent. You will find this placefilled with people anytime of the day. I love their tacos which comes with green and red salsa. Red salsa is a bomb - hot yettasty. They sell variety of tacos but chicken and fish tacos are my favorite. Their Chicken is marinated and shredded. Theburrito is good sized and tasty. Torta is great. I also enjoy their Tres leches. The staff is friendly and place is inexpensive.I am sure any food lover will enjoy this place. Read more
