We met a friend as a recommendation while being back in town (a little over a week ago, late posting). We were going to try the... craft beers but they were a bit expensive so we went with the $3 well whiskey and coke. They were pretty good, price was great.We ate the pretzels and cheese and the cheese looked dry and reheated however it tasted pretty good. The pretzels were fluffyand soft and enjoyable. This place has tons of potential but our bartender was pretty neglectful to those who weren't her friend's at the opposite side... of the bar. I was in there Wednesday July 27th at around 7:30-8:45pm. Initially we spent 12 minutes waiting for the bartender to ask us... about drinks. When she did she didn?t ask ask us about food and walked away too fast. When she returned with the drinks. Shestill walked away without asking about food and not giving the opportunity to mention it. Finally we were able to order food.While waiting on our food we asked for more drinks 4 times and she always forgot to bring them. After that 4th time asking, shefinally brought drinks. Now my lady received her food and I received part of mine. I ordered mild wings and fries. The friescame but not the wings. I noticed the bartender put wings under the bar. I mentioned it and she said ?oh yeah these are yours?.I actually had the fries for 15 minutes before I received the wrong wings. Now she brought the jerk chicken ones. Not what wasordered and only reinforces the point that she paid no attention to us. With the amount of time I waited for the wings. Idecided to cancel the food order instead of the bartender having them remade. Now it would have been better if the bartender hadtried to make it right but she just brushed it off. To add to the issue, the bartender was eating while she was working. Sittingthere watching her eat while I was not able. If I was the owner I?d be upset that a customer that has ordered carry out anddined in about 50 times over 2 years, had to go to a competitor to simply eat dinner. Its sad because this place has beenamazing but the past few times there?s been service issues. In conclusion the bartender in question needs to pay attention towhat is going on and. The killians Irish red beer was pretty good. My bf and I tried their loaded potato soup and chili, loved the toppings on the... potato soup. The deep fried pickle spears were hot but delicious. My bf enjoyed the Reuben sandwich and I had ordered the loadedIrishman burger, each came with seasoned fries! To say the least we ordered to much food between the two of us. Everything wasgood and now we have leftovers for lunch tomorrow. They had great music and a good trivia game going on.
