Harvey House is such a great addition to the Madison restaurant scene. The service is unparalleled. I've never had better... service anywhere. The servers were so attentive - my water never even got close to being empty. The food was brought out soquickly and it was phenomenal! The English Pea Soup was to die for and the Cannelloni was unbelievable. Complex flavors andperfect preparation. My partner got the steak and was so happy with it. Harvey House is definitely our new go to spot forcelebrations and fancy dinners. We can't wait to go back! Read more
It was absolutely delicious and everything was well thought out and perfectly cooked/crafted. The staff was friendly,... thoughtful, and made our anniversary even more special. This was a reservation worth waiting for!!! Finally made it to Harvey House and had an A+ dinner followed by fantastic desserts... and drinks. Starting with the lovely ambience and warm decor to the locally inspired menu and great assortments of drinks,Harvey House has something for everyone. Located behind Madison?s historic train depot, Harvey House is indeed a celebration ofWisconsin?s iconic supper clubs. It has become my new favorite restaurant. The decor, ambience, hospitality, to food anddrinks; everything here is incredible . Absolutely loved the open kitchen. This is a perfect spot for date nights, girls nights,groups, and out of town visitors. Show off Harvey House to your friends and family. The relish tray is a must try, it?s sorefreshing. Both the soups cream of broccoli and French onion bouillon are a must try, simply amazing. The Yukon gold potatopierogies and the Slow cooked salmon were excellent. For Madison, WI 5 stars for sure. Updated and modern take on a supper club. Friendly service, great food, and super cool... vibe. We had a couple of fantastic mocktails (just nice to have good options when you don?t drink). Had the relish tray, niceupdated take on a classic, and loved the platter it was served on, kale Ceasar salad ? also great updated salad, the walleye,cooked perfect (although a little too much horseradish mousse), and the braised short rib. Also, the house rolls were soooogood. Definitely a fantastic date night or special occasion place. We will be back. Just exciting to get these types of placesin Madison! Read more
I'm the type of person that when I go out for a nice meal- I don't want to eat something I could cook at the same level that I... would at home.
