Visiting the area for work. Found this place on Yelp. The soft tofu soup was just ok. The veggies in there are not what I?d find... in typical tofu soup. Tofu itself is soft but not enough. Having lived in Korea for a long time, was surprised to find authentic Korean cuisine in Madison. The owner/chef does it the... old-school way, by evidence of using fernbrake in her dolsot bibimbap, which is slightly hard to procure unless you live inlarger cities such as LA or Chicago. Came here with my gf and her co-worker. Waiter took our orders after 20 mins of waiting. Ordered their lunch special. Food was... good but noticed they had 5% off if you register for a promo. Asked the lady working there, said I can get next time. Aftermeal we paid the bill then I asked if I can fill out for the promo for next time. The lady?s co-worker started speaking to herin Korean and told me they don?t do that now. That put me off that I didn?t tip. Why advertise something that is false to beginwith. I love Korean food, and this place does not disappoint. They have lunch specials that are fantastic; their tofu stew (kalguksu)... basically ?????, and very delicious. I recommend their Beef Deopbap if you come for lunch, and get a kimchi pancake appetizertoo. Absolutely delicious, homestyle Korean food! Read more
