We have been ordering from this restaurant for a couple years now and it always so delicious. The food is incredibly flavorful... - our favorites are the palak chole and the dal fry. By far our favorite Indian restaurant in Madison. We sometimes get foodfrom other places, but find we are always wish we had ordered from Royal Indian instead. Great food with a delicious flavor of spices! We ordered the chicken biryani and the chicken tiki masala with garlic Naan. The... biryani had large, tender chunks of chicken in it. The tiki masala has a vibrant tasting sauce. Wonderful! Read more

First time having Indian food. Not sure what to expect but food was good. Ordered Butter chicken and tikka chicken masa with... garlic naan from the reviews I saw online. Wouldn?t mind trying again next time I?m in the area but wouldn?t drive to madisonjust for it though. Wait time was not bad, 25 minutes. If only they would allow dine in, but I do understand the staffingshortage now a days. 1 recommendation I would like to see is pictures of the food with the menu. We were in town from Minneapolis and were craving Indian food for dinner. We chose to eat at Royal Indian Cuisine due to the... high Google ratings. This place lived up to the hype, the owner was very friendly and gave us good suggestions on what to order.The food was awesome - we ordered beef and paneer tikka masala with a side of garlic naan. SO impressed. I could go on and on, but the highlights: unique takes on authentic dishes, amazing portion sizes, impeccable... flavors, and naan bread that's to die for. Such tender meats, clever flavor combinations, and beautiful presentation. This isjust delicious food at its best - you simply can't ask for anything more. And of course, such kind service. Excellent and kind service by the lady ( owner). 1. We were served complimentary appetizer ( pakora) with excellent mint chutney... l. 2. Chicken tikka was soft and tender. Suggestion to add a little spice but I know many people would probably prefer itmild. 3. Aloo tikki chaat: amazing crisp 4. Butter chicken : very good . They adjusted spice to our level. 5. For other Indians: their chai was hot just like we would like it. ???? I added pics but we were already devouring it before I could click.Presentation was great and better than it appears on my pics for this reason. 5 stars for the service and kindness. Excellent customer service. Very welcoming! Good food

This was my first time dining with Royal Indian Cuisine and they did not disappoint. My food was prepared quickly and was hot... when I arrived, despite me running a little late to pick it up. The portion sizes were excellent for the price. I ordered mydish "very spicy" and it did not disappoint. The lady at the counter was kind enough to warn me of the heat level, too. Thankyou so much.
