Bartender was rude told us to speak with our chest when we were being loud already. Proceeds to hand us our drink but doesn?t... tell us how much it costs just demands money. Mickey's is the flavor of the near East Side of madison. I usually come here for fish fry, which is excellent but recently also... had their Mickey's Burger which was perfect. On both occasions my dining companions have had the mac and cheese and loved it.The staff are friendly, the service is great and the prices are reasonable. They have a good selection of beer. My partner and I religiously go to mickeys for brunch every weekend. We?ve been going for almost three years and when they had... to close for a bit due to covid we were unable to find a better breakfast place in the entire surrounding Madison area(Middleton, Oregon, and sun prairie included). For breakfast, they have the BEST bloody Mary?s, eggs Benedict, and scrambles.For lunch and dinner, you won?t find comparable vegetarian sandwiches in the area and their sexy fries are to die for. The vibeand atmosphere is welcoming and eccentric and includes a beautiful back patio. The bartenders and staff are some of the nicestpeople you will meet and are always helpful! We tend to go as early as possible because they do get busy! We will continue to goto Mickey?s Tavern for as long as we can. Read more

Always yummy! My boyfriend usually goes for the Mickey Burger which is a favorite, but decided to try the spicy caesar chicken... wrap special this time and wasn?t disappointed. The chili was also delightful, as were the drinks. (They make a mean WhiteRussian!) I got the Mickey Burger with a veggie patty and it was sooo good. They have a classic bean burger patty that goesreally well with the fixings on the Mickey Burger, so I?d definitely recommend it to any vegetarians out there (or anyone elsewho?s curious!). Their Lonestar sandwich is also super yummy, and coming from someone who doesn?t like Dijon mustard that meansa LOT lol. Cheese curds, spotted cow on tap, fantastic folk live music, homey decor and phenomenal lady bartenders with great service.... Bellied up to the bar for a quick bite before a concert at the Sylvee. Highly recommend. Read more

I really enjoyed my time here. There was a band I don't remember who. It was super busy which is why only three stars for... service. Otherwise everything else was top notch. And I understand when it's busy you're going to wait longer but maybe extrastaff on a night where there's a band isn't a bad idea Read more
