LongHorn has always been one of my favorite cheaper steakhouses to eat at. I?ve never had a complaint on service or food until... tonight. Service was mediocre, server barely checked on us actually had to flag her down after sitting for 5+ min when oursteaks were cooked incorrectly , ask for checks, boxes, refills. When we finally grabbed her attention that both steaks weremade incorrectly (overcooked, should have been MR & M ) she took them back, I then assume the manager was the one to bring thenew ones back and stayed and waited until we cut into them again. Both steaks were then very undercooked, I told my mom to keephers the Medium steak (was cooked as a MR) but as for mine the MR it?s was cold on the inside and pretty much still mooing. Sentit back a second time just to get it back still under cooked. The manager asked I wanted her to throw it back on AGAIN but afterthat point I said no it was fine because I wasn't about to send it back a 3rd time. I took two bites of my food that then seemedlike it was a steak that was seared and then microwaved just to make it hot and then asked for boxes after waiting for ourserver to come back around again and requested boxes. Pictured below is of my MR steak. I?m not one to complain yet alone writea review but this was absolutely terrible all around. I?ve eaten at many steak houses & supper clubs and never have I ever Gotten a medium rare steak that looks like this. We paid for our food but I wish we hadn?t, not only that but you would thinkthey would have given more than 10% off our bill for having to send a steak back more than once. Read more

Our visit was really good! We only had one issue with an overcooked entree and it was quickly replaced with one that was cooked... correctly and tasted fantastic. We had the Chopped steak (with a whole sweet potato), chicken tenders, full rack of ribs and aburger. Everything was delicious! The warm, fresh bread with whipped butter (free) was also much appreciated. Also got thewonderful free dessert as a birthday reward from their loyalty program. See pics. Read more
We came after shopping all day out near Milwaukee to grab a birthday meal for my daughter (her 18th!) close to home. We must?ve... gotten here at the perfect time! No wait time when we got in the door. (But by the time we left, there was a line! Luckyus!!) We had excellent service. The server/waiter gave suggestions when asked, and I am so glad! My drink was good, appetizersand salad came out at a good time, the bread was warm and wonderful. And the Steaks and burger were seasoned beautifully andcooked to order just as we asked. (They forgot my broccoli for a moment, but upon asking, it was promptly delivered withapologies. No big deal! It was crisp and fresh and tasted great!) Waiter was attentive even though he was getting very busy. Nothovering, not ignoring. Even comped my daughter?s cake at the end for her birthday! Couldn?t have asked for a better end to ourday! Excellent meal! The server, Chip, did such an amazing job entertaining us and providing us with tips for our meal. Super... personable. I got a 12oz ribeye steak, medium. It was cooked perfectly. I added parmesan crust to it (I would skip that nexttime, although really good, super rich). I also got the brussel sprouts. A little too sweet for me. My partner got a 9ozfillet, medium rare. Perfectly cooked. He loved it. He got rice pilaf. That was decent. We also got the Texas tonions (bloom inonion, longhorn version). Those were very good, but I was so full by the time I got to my steak. The server stated that they usefresh onions compared to outback. Overall, it was a great experience. Will be back.
